Perfect house for large families and great beach access

The Castle Rock Estate truly feels like our home away from home. This was our second stay here, and we’re already planning to book again next year. The property has everything we need for a perfect coastal getaway, thoughtfully designed spaces and amenities that make it easy to enjoy everything the region has to offer.The fully equipped chef’s kitchen was ideal for cooking up our daily catch, and the large hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after long days of hiking, fishing, crabbing, and clamming. This time, we traveled with a few seniors, and the home was wonderfully accommodating for them, with several bedrooms on the main floor and easy beach access.The kids loved the bunk beds, and I appreciated having quiet spaces where I could catch up on a bit of work. There’s truly something for everyone at this property, comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury that makes every visit special.

We had neighbors around us, but the layout of the house and yard gave us a lot of privacy

My friends and I LOVED this home and wish we stayed more than just 4 nights. A week would have been great because then we'd have had more time to enjoy the amenities like the hot tub and the decks for sunsets. We did love the fireplace for gathering at night and in the AM. The home had every amenity you could consider. We loved seeing the ocean and beach and the close proximity to the beach. I will caution that construction in ongoing at the home next door (our visit was September '25) although that did not bother us. I would recommend this property to anyone - friends, families, etc.

This house was absolutely amazing and helped us to have a nice long getaway with our close family and friends for my husbands 40th. The property was clean, so close to the beach, and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. We even talked about coming again in the future because we had such a lovely time! The guest suite was also perfect for our friends who needed a bit more of a quiet zone with all of our friends hanging out. Absolutely lovely, and will recommend it to everyone!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful property. The location is steps from what feels like a private beach. The beds are comfortable and it has all you need.

Castle Rock Estate is an expansive and lovely home with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. All amenities are top notch. The views to the beach are an added bonus. Our family of 10 spent the week here and enjoyed it thoroughly. The house was very clean, well maintained, had a very high quality finish out. It was very comfortable for our family from ages 6 to 73 years. There is a 3 minute flat walk to the beach, which is expansive and quite private. Having a stream that meets the ocean on the beach made it even more fun for our grandkids. We cannot say enough good things about our experience we had at Castle Rock Estate.

A very lovely home with gorgeous wood trim throughout, and a bonus of hot tub, & Sauna. The beauty of the view from two decks added to the rest and rejuvenation. We had grand kids that enjoyed walking as far as they could see...on the beach...a kite was purchased from the kite store, and everyone had a blast flying that. Sea Level Coffee shop and bakery was close by (and yes there is a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen, but who doesn't like a good Cortado or Cappuccino in the morning with fresh baked muffins. The home has a wonderful kitchen set up for cooking breakfast and lunch and dinner for that matter. Delightful restaurants near by as well. A good thirty degree's lower in temperature from Portland to Arch Cape...that was really, really nice to experience. Definitely would like to rent here again, and again...my wife & I and our adult kids and their children absolutely loved it.

This is an amazing property with room for everyone. It's a great location. Having two dishwashers, washer/dryers, and stoves was a huge plus. There were lots of plates, serve ware, utensils, glasses, cups, etc. for cooking and serving. The BBQ, hot tub, firepit, and ping pong table were used daily. Lots of puzzles and games were fun to use! The beach is easily accessed across the street and is a flat trail. The house is located on a dead-end street so there's no traffic. That said, here's a few general and maintenance suggestions that would make this house even more amazing: The apartment needs to have somewhere to hang clothes and store them. King size beds would be great in the apartment and upstairs main room. The shower knob in the bathroom with the sauna falls off. The Viking stove knob falls off and the front right burner doesn't work. A stand mixer, additional measuring spoons and cups would help with any baking and cooking. Add pull down shades on the upper windows in the living room to block the blinding light coming in during dinner time. Butcher block cleaner would be great to have. Even with a few adjustments, we'd definitely stay here again. It's a beautiful home.

The property was clean and very well equipped. The amenities were all high quality. We enjoyed our stay, having spaces to come together and also plenty of spaces for quiet times.
