Seagull Landing-Deck overlooks ocean waves-200 ft to beach and tidepools

The seagull landing deck property is beautiful and I enjoyed my stay at the property. My only disappointment was with the check-in instructions. I did not get an email with checking instructions.. The email I received redirected me to the Vrbo website where I had to create an account and then use the chat option to find the check-in instructions. It was very inconvenient as the internet connection in the area is not good.. I dropped a voicemail to the property owners but I didn’t hear back from them.

We have stayed in many VRBO houses and this was the best equipped kitchen we have seen. Our host gave excellent directions and had good information in a notebook for us. The house was immaculate. The fireplace and outdoor fire were fabulous. The house is decorated nicely and felt cosy, warm and friendly. We would love to return!

House is beautiful. Very clean. Right next to the beach best location for sure. Good for teens and parents. Had beach chairs, for pit beautiful view. Make the short drive to short shore it’s a short easy hike in the wood to an amazing creek and beach! Spend a day there take fire starter log and lunch trust me! Found agates just amazing forest views great for photos of beach and forest. The beach at the house is magical also you. A walk for miles in both directions tons of silver dollars. Huge point entrance was and closed and that’s too far to walk so drive down to haystack on at low tide they have the best tide pools. But there are small tide pools at the beach in front of the house too. Bring rain boots and rain jackets. It was a must have. House has very soft amazing beds! We watched Goonies and twilight just to get in the spirit lol. We grilled dinner most night it was perfect had all the stuff you need. Including sand toys, med side rain jackets and blankets and chair for beach. Even when tide is high you can walk the beach! Lots of fire wood to have a fire in beach but bring a starter log or two. Watch the sunset in the beach w a fire it’s worth it! The beach empty most days the neighborhood is clear, beautiful and everyone was so nice! Short drive to Astoria must see Goonies house and film museum. Very glad I stayed at this house instead of staying in Astoria though much nice area and the beach was pretty with tons of hiking. Stunning views from the balcony and short walk to beach! Wonderful wood burning fireplace, and a kitchen with all the amenities! We made three fabulous dinners in the kitchen and it had everything we needed! We already booked another stay for next year!

Lovely cabin that let all our needs. We really enjoyed that firewood was provided and we could have a cozy fire throughout our stay.

Nice layout with great views from the deck and well off the crazy beaten track of Cannon Beach. Have stayed many times in Cannon Beach and Manzanita, but never in Arch Cape so this was a new experience. Well equipped kitchen also.

Very comfortable. Clean and well supplied. A lot of information in the house notebook and plenty of flyers about the area. Good communication with the host. Great location and great view! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I can see us coming back.

Great HQ for a family stay near Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock

Great location. Great communication from host. 2 minute walk to beach. 10 minutes to Cannon Beach drive. House is a little older but in good condition. We enjoyed our stay throughout the week.

All was great but we brought some coffee and there was no actual coffee maker just the Keurig.

Nice location! Kitchen had everything we needed . Beds were pretty decent. A bit of a musty smell in basement. Communication with owner was excellent!. We would stay here again!

Clean well appointed Dresser in master b room had drawers that fell out of track. Some broken window treatments. No heat, owner responded but not fixed by end of stay. However, really cozy house that we enjoyed. Would go back

The location was as advertised and was just right for our family beach trip. The beaches were sandy and felt safe, something important for a mom of a toddler. The fireplace was great for cooler ocean nights and the walk to the beach was a breeze. I’d suggest bringing a wagon for easier transportation of beach supplies, but it’s such a short walk, multiple trips if needed are not a burden.

Absolutely beautiful home with spectacular views! King sized bed was sooo comfy! Close to town for dining and shopping. We WILL be back!!!!

This was our 2nd time renting Mike and Deb's place after two years. It is really a perfect place - Arch cape beach is every bit as beautiful as Cannon Beach, just more tranquil. You are conveniently located between Manzanita and Cannon beach which is super convenient. The house itself has a great layout with plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the view. This is our home away from home on the coast!

We had a great stay at Seagull Landing. The house is warm, thoughtfully appointed, very comfortable, and Deb is a great communicator. Beach access is amazingly close to the house and the beach is incredible. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night in a very comfortable bed. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Seagull Landing is a great choice to stay. Beautiful, clean home. Well stocked with anything we could have needed, comfortable and relaxing. It was actually the best I've slept in months! Nice easy walk to the beach, and a quick 10 minute drive in to Cannon Beach.The owners are very kind and clearly put forth extra effort to make sure you enjoy your stay!

We loved the quiet location and the proximity to the beach. The house has a great layout: all bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen and living room is upstairs. The beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. We even made a fire in the fireplace. We will be back!

We were so pleased with every aspect. Usually photos make a property more appealing than it is. This listing is an exception. The beach views through the limbed trees better than shown in photos. Access to the beach is as described... so close. WE got sun breaks every day and just loved the beach strolls. Even during storms, it was great. This home had lots of windows in the living area and didn't lack any amenities. The wifi, house phone and cell phones didn't work upon arrival, but Deb was immediately accessible and had the service provider out to fix things within 2 hours. She followed up and checked in to make sure all was well. We really would like to return.

We had a great time at the Landing. Everything we needed was there. I would add chairs that could be taken to the beach. If they were there, we couldn't find them. Loved that the table opened up for more than four as one night we had guests. thank you!

This is our 3rd time staying at Seagull Landing. The owners take pride in their property and make it warm and welcoming. Always a delightful and relaxing time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, we enjoyed the beach and surrounding areas. The house is in an adorable area and very private neighborhood. The bunkbed bedroom is very tiny, the other bedrooms small but worked. The pullout couch in the living room needs a new mattress. Check-in was 4:00 pm but the cleaning crew was there until 6:00 pm and apparently they did not know someone was checking in that day. I did not like that the house advertises for 8 people but if you actually have 8 people you get charged an extra $60 fee. There are so many extra fees for VRBO that this did rub me the wrong way. Overall, we had a wonderful time and the house met our needs.

Small neighborhood of updated homes a block off of hwy101 about a 7min drive south of Cannon Beach. Bathroom, well-stocked kitchen and living room - with jigsaw puzzles ;), upstairs with deck - ocean views , most through trees. The three small bdrms are downstairs next to the front door, the laundry rm and a 2nd bathroom. Fixing a few issues ( front door deadbolt, 1st fl bathroom door - both likely due to settling) and a thorough cleaning would have made our visit even better. Overall we were very pleased with the location.

Seagull Landing was ideal for our family reunion vacation, as it was a 5 minute walk to the house rented by others in the family, and the close proximity to the beautiful Arch Cape Beach.

My family and I (3 kids, 4 parents) stayed at Seagull Landing for a glorious 2 weeks and it truly felt like home by the time we left. The living space was ample and comfortable with plenty of room to dine, lounge and enjoy the beautiful views from the deck. The kitchen was well appointed, which allowed us to cook every night. The owner is very friendly and invested in insuring her guests' have a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

This house was ideally located just a few hundred yards to the beach with easy access to the beach. The kitchen was small but easy to work in and well equipped. The living area was comfortable and the deck was roomy enough for the 6 of us to be out on for Bar-B-Q meals. The children's bedroom was small but our grand kids like small spaces. Not sure what older kids would think. We would definitely rent this house again.
