Pelican Reef is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, semi oceanfront cottage located at the end of a cul de sac in the village of Waves. Beach access is across the street- literally steps away. This cottage is newly listed on VRBO, and has been renovated in 2020 featuring all new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, 65 inch smart TV, wifi, full size water and dryer, and a new deck. New flooring 2024.Enjoy fabulous ocean views, and sunsets over the sound. There is an outdoor shower and ample parking underneath the house. The three bedrooms consist of two queen beds and one bedroom with two twin beds. All bedrooms have memory foam mattress toppers and flat screen Roku TVs. Only bed linens are provided. Bath towels are available for rental. There is a screened in porch with additional seating and a porch swing. Underneath the house features a hammock, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, several beach chairs, umbrellas, awesome beach cart, corn hole, and tiki toss. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay including a vitamix blender, steam pot, air fryer, keurig and traditional coffee makers, and barware. The jellyfish table can glow in the dark if you shine a flashlight on them for just a few minutes. This cottage is less than half a mile from Pamlico Sound which is a world class destination for kiteboarding, windsurfing, and fishing. Upon arrival you will find a complimentary welcome package including one roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, one bottle of dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergent, 2 dishwasher pods, and a kitchen sponge in a reusable tote to help you get settled. This area of the Outer banks has unique restaurants, shopping, and a variety of things to do for people of all ages. The Rodanthe pier is a half mile to the north. Based on availability, these two cottages would provide the perfect solution for those traveling in larger groups so that everyone can have their own space yet still be together. FANTASEA IS A SUNDAY TO SUNDAY RENTAL. VRBO SAYS WE ARE A 13 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH - NOT TRUE! FANTASEA IS 2 - 3 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH. Refresh yourself at FantaSea, perfect for large families, just one lot back from the oceanfront. FantaSea is an awesome 5-bedroom getaway the whole family can enjoy. Enter on the first level and chill out in the game room with shuffleboard, TV and full-size refrigerator. The game room also features a pull out sofa and pub table. The laundry area and a full bath are also on the first floor. Step out onto the shaded deck to enjoy lunch before stepping down into the pool and hot tub area for some fun in the sun. The second level has four bedrooms. A king master and queen master both have TVs and sliders onto the shaded deck on the ocean side of the house. Across the hall are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a pyramid bed, sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Both have access to shaded decks as well. Upstairs is another king master suite with TV featuring a shower stall in the master bathroom. The spacious open living, dining, and kitchen area boasts beautiful ocean views and a gas fireplace to keep you cozy through those cool nights. Step out onto the sundeck to watch the sunrise or count the stars by night. When you’re ready to get some sand between your toes, the community path to the beach is right across the street. The beach is about a 2 minute walk away. The ground level patio area with picnic table and charcoal grill is a great place to grab lunch before heading back to the beach. The outdoor shower features hot and cold water. A fish cleaning table is located on the other side of the house. Restaurants and watersports activities are also within walking distance, so a good time is never far away. Make FantaSea your vacation choice! Pool available April through October.
