This is the one! If you are looking for a quality place to stay and a great right next to the beach location - you've found the place. This is our second home and only rental; we self-manage and pride ourselves on our hands on approach in maintaining its condition and making sure our guests are well cared for. We keep our detailed listing up to date, read on to learn all about our place, its location and amenities!brbrThis home with Oceanfront pool (pool is main photo in listing) is located on NC-12 beach road. It is a second row home directly behind the Oceanfront homes. We do have some small Ocean views between the Oceanfront houses from the top rear deck. Across the street are the Epstein St. Beach access (with ramp) and Village Beach Club Private Oceanfront Pool (entry included, no additional fees.) The beach club offers food & drink service. The pool is open from 10am to 5pm daily from Saturday May 17th - Sunday September 14th, 2025.brbrLocated at Milepost 14.5, the photo with the red star shows our home and the closest beach access. This beach access features a lifeguard stand and newly renovated bathhouse with restrooms, showers, wooden walkway and parking. Getting to the beach is quick and safe, no need to walk down beach road to get there! It’s as easy as a short stroll down the quiet Cul de sac from the house and directly across the street from our neighborhood via crosswalk is a beach access point. brbrFrom the décor to the updated, high-quality furnishings, you will feel as though you are staying at a friend's house and not a rundown rental. This is our second home (and only rental) so we regularly stay here ourselves, which means you can expect to find that everything is going to be comfortable and in excellent condition as listed. *Scroll all the way down for a list of amenities included with your stay*brbrbrA FEW THINGS THAT SET US APART FROM THE OTHER RENTALS:br*Local tip*: If you're comparing our rental to any others, be sure to ask them about their check in times (and if their time is *guaranteed*) and if bed linens are provided. Most Outer Banks rentals have later check in times (sometimes as late as 6pm or later if they're running behind or don't have enough cleaning staff) and either don't provide linens or don't have beds made upon your arrival. Probably two of the most important things to consider when renting in the Outer Banks and that no one wants to deal with after a long drive!brbrbrEARLIER CHECK IN TIMEbrOur check in time of 3pm (and *possibly* even earlier if requested ahead of time) is guaranteed and one of the earliest in the Outer Banks area. All bedrooms have both blackout blinds AND blackout curtains ensuring you can sleep in as long as you’d like! brbrbrPOOL: brRight across the street are the Epstein St. Beach access and the Village Beach Club private members only Oceanfront pool. The Village Beach Club Oceanfront Pool is included with your stay. The Beach Club also serves food and drink! They have plenty of parking as well as a separate private beach access so that you can park and access the beach without ever having to walk through the pool area. It is a private membership pool and, therefore, typically doesn’t get too crowded. *Pool hours 10am-5pm, subject to change due to private events they may occasionally close an hour early at 4pm or even earlier due to weather although they will reopen after threat passes*brbrbrPOOL FOOD/DRINK/AMENITIES: brThe beach club does offer food and drink (they have smoothies and also have a bar) and have wait staff that take and deliver poolside orders which is a great amenity especially for those with little ones! It’s also great for those long, lazy beach days where you can just walk over to the club from the beach and grab a snack or something refreshing to drink, made to order, and walk right back to your chair. The club also has a double tennis court. We provide both adult and children tennis and pickleball rackets and balls with our rental.brbrbrTV's/WI-FI: brEvery bedroom has a flat screen TV and Roku streaming (with Hulu Live TV for news/cable channels) as well as a large screen TV in the upstairs family room. They are all smart TV's. Entire home has upgraded Wi-Fi. The bunk bedroom has one of the largest TV’s in the house, we find that the kids love to hang in there to play video games or watch movies together :)brbrbrOUTDOOR SHOWER AND GRILL: brIn the covered carport area you will find an outdoor shower. We do have a propane grill (propane provided), stools, Adirondack chairs and string lights for some hang out time while you grill :)brbrbrLAYOUT: brThe heart of the home, on the top/3rd floor, has an open floor plan kitchen, dining area (seats 6), kitchen island/bar (seats 4) and family room. The top level has a back deck off the kitchen, with a picnic table and 4 high top chairs and high top table, that faces beach road and this is where you will get your Ocean view. There is a washer and dryer on this level as well as a half bathroom. There are two flights of stairs from the bottom level to the top level.brbrbrKITCHEN: brThe kitchen includes everything you would need to prepare, eat and store food - including spices. We provide both a Keurig coffee maker and/or drip coffee maker for your morning coffee on the back deck. We also provide a Ninja Blender. We do not have an ice maker but provide ice cube trays. Mom was bored and decide to make her own Beach Retreat. This lovely two bedroom, one bath, is located on the beach road in Nags Head at mile post 16. There are two beach access close enough you don' t need to drive. By close they are 50 yards on each side. The one to the north does have an out door shower and foot wash, but there is also a water hose on the north side of the house. If is blowing be sure to wash off your car. There is a spacious front porch to enjoy your coffee and catch a glimpse of the ocean and a back deck for a cocktail and a sunset you won't forget. brA quick note about this property. brbrThis property is a duplex and the other side the Southwester, # 1067106 is also in the Vrbo program along with another property two lots away # 1149486.brbrThe duplexes insulation is of the highest quality making sound from one side to the other or sound from outside to inside not an issue. A 1000 foot pier, Jennette's, operated by the North Carolina Aquarium, is half a mile away for fishing and just to walk. Putt putt, go carts, and jet skis are across the street on the sound side, along with a public access. There are 10 restaurants within 3 miles. Fishing charters are available within a short drive down to Pirates Cove Marina. Nags Head Golf Links is 1 mile away with links style golf at its finest. Need someone to play with Just let me know! They also gave me some discount cards. Hatteras ferry dock is an hour a way to the island of Ocracoke. My Family owns and operates the Dunes Restaurant for the past 34 years. We love the area and know you will have a great time staying here with us in Nags Head. brOn Roanoke Island you will find a bunch of stuff to do. One is the North Carolina Aquarium. Its one of several in the NC system and also hooked to Jennetts Pier. Its a good go to for the whole family, I like to take a date there to kill some time on a cloudy day. Lots of animals and fish and even a jelly fish viewing. For the price its worth is. There is also the Lost Colony play that recreates the first English settlement in 1587 and what they think happened. It only plays in summer though. Most of the actors are college students in preforming arts. It has true story behind it, Indians and gun fights, Singing and Dancing, and great costumes. Its 20 for any seat and 25 or 30 and you get to go back stage.brIn downtown Manteo there are shops from fine art to beach stuff, 4 restaurants, one with a brewery, a distillery, a child play ground, a replica of a light house, my grandad was stationed on the real one, a historic boat building shop, some charter boats for hire, a pirate ship, and the oldest family run movie theater, that is only 7 per person and they have great popcorn. br
