Enter from the deck overlooking the mountains. The front entrance opens to a open-living layout with a kitchen area and living room, including a wood burning fireplace. There are vaulted ceilings that grant a spacious but cozy feel. The kitchen includes a stove/oven, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator and dishwasher. All the utensils, pots and pans are provided. There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed, with plush linens, located on the second level. There is plenty of space for making yourself feel at home with a dresser and closet. The second bedroom is located downstairs with a full sized bed. There is one bathroom, located on the first floor. A loft overlooks the fireplace and living room; it is a great space to curl up and read or if you must, catch up on some work. There is a washer and dryer as well. The bathroom includes a tub-shower with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hair dryer provided.brbrYou may wish to bring a few Dura-Flame logs for the fireplace. The open plan living area has a fully stocked newly renovated kitchen for preparing great meals for family and friends. We have all the small appliances, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes and glasses to prepare a holiday meal or an intimate dinner for two. In the summer, spring and fall you will find pots filled with fresh herbs that are there for the picking! We have a lovely dining area with a farmers table and a comfy living room with a gas fireplace, brand new flat screen TV for viewing satellite channels, Netflix, Amazon or bring your own films to play on the new DVD player. There are three bedrooms; a master suite with King-size bed and private bath on one side of the house and on the other side a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bathroom with shower and tub. We have stocked the house with books, games, puzzles and DVDs for those nights you just want to stay in. There is a secluded deck off the living room with a gas grill and outdoor table for dining in the warmer weather. The house is fully air conditioned (new air conditioner just installed) in the summer (although you will want to throw the windows open for the crisp cool summer evenings) and well heated for the winter. This is a four seasons rental, we are set up comfortably for 6 people. We provide all linens, toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and other essentials for getting your vacation off to a good start...the cupboards are filled with spices, oils, vinegars, mustards and other mainstays to start you on your cooking experience. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.brbr*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. Turtle Cove is a cozy, family friendly cabin waiting to make you vacation dreams a reality. Located on Little Mirror Lake in the desirable Riverbend Sudivision, it has a full kitchen and eat-in dining table that will hold 8 people. Right off the kitchen is the den, which features a gas fireplace, a 50-inch TV, and seating for 7 people. On the main floor, Turtle Cove offers a primary bedroom (with a queen size bed) with an en suite bathroom, walki-in closet, and a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom features a queen size bed and a full bath next door. Just upstairs is a spacious loft area with two futons that fold out to queen size beds. The loft also has a half bath and a gaming system. The back deck overlooks Little Mirror Lake with an awesome view of the private dock. We have two kayaks and a canoe for your boating pleasure. The basement offers more fun for our younger guests. It features a foosball table, a ping pong table and a small pool table. There is a second gathering area with a large sectional sofa with a large TV and another full size bathroom. The bottom deck offers more views of the lake and direct access to the dock. It also has a hammock in which you can just enjoy the peace of the neighborhood or read a good book. Before leaving the basement to head to the dock, visitors have multiple lifevests to choose from in children adult sizes. Your safety is of utmost importance to us. brRiverbend has its own private beach for guests staying in the neighborhood. There is also a swimming area in which you can enjoy the water from the Broad River. There is also a hiking trail and a waterfall in the neighborhead across from the beach. The Lake Lure area offers scenic boat tours, tennis, golf, horseback riding, biking, fishing, and lakeside restaurants. As a result, the lake is going to be cleaner than it has ever been! The beach at Rumbling Bald is open now on one side with playground, pavilion, grassy field, and sandy beach for tanning. The other side will be open again with cabana in May, 2026. Chimney Rock State Park is open and many businesses. The people of this area depend on and are desperate for tourism to return to this beautiful mountain town so please book and help support our recovery.
