Our kids love the 2x pools, lazy river, and we love the hot tub and saunas. This house is located 0.5 miles from the gate. It is walkable but the hill is steep so usually we drive. brbrOther amenities include basketball courts, tennis courts, mini-golfing (not expensive), 2x golf courses (discounted with guest passes), coffee shop, bars and restaurants. brbrWe've put in a ton of work to make it comfortable and updated many aspects of house with ongoing improvements. brbr2 Bedrooms, one with a queen and a second with a full and twin bed. There's a pull out queen bed in the living room as well. All linens included. brbrThe upstairs bathtub is great for kids with the downstairs shower for adults. Guests who would like to get out on the water can rent boats through Yonder, with delivery available for lakefront homes or pickup available at the southernmost point of the lake.brbrAs you arrive to this charming lake house, Hickory Hideaway, you will immediately notice the view of Lake Lure and quickly begin to unwind! Lake Lure is special and the views from this house are exceptional. Upon entering the house, you will be taken away by the high-pitched ceilings and exposed beams. To your left is the newly renovated half bath and fully equipped kitchen to gather and prepare your meals. The dining room table seats six comfortably and looks out over the lake as does the living room. The living room is very cozy with its gas fireplace and flat-screen TV. brbrTake the stairs up to the open loft with its queen-sized bed and fabulous view of the lake. There are two bedrooms on the terrace level, including a master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has one twin bed and a double bed.
