Consisting of almost 5 acres; our property has 2; 1-bedroom homes arranged so one is at top of acreage and the other below to provide a feeling of privacy yet, close enough so friends and family can getaway together. brAlso unique to our property is the feeling of being remote yet it's 5 mins to Fontanna Lake, under 15 minutes to the nearest grocer & less than 30 mins away from the Nantahala Outdoor Center! brAs a traveler, you'll delight in our homes array of amenities, including complimentary high-speed wifi, array of games/puzzles, table with 4 chairs and a convenient washer and dryer. Unwind in the cozy living room, equipped with a smart TV, or step outside to the balcony and enjoy the fresh mountain air with a mountain view. Amenities include a full-sized shower/tub, refrigerator/oven & room enough to sleep up to 4 (recommended 2 adults/ 2 children).brThe Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is just a 15-minute drive away located in downtown Bryson City and offers a scenic journey through stunning landscape. In the winter the railroad is known for its Polar Express experience which includes the downtown area being full of people wearing their pajama's as they wander through the festively decorated streets.brBryson City area is also known for many other attractions. The 'Road to No Where', numerous waterfalls, tail of the Dragon, The Appalachian Trail (our 27-year-old daughter completed AT 2025! Go Marly!), Clingmans dome - the area is abundant in sites to see and things to do.
