A favorite is Main Street Ltd., a great gift shop right next to Quotations Cafe. Of course, Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is also host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). It's a quick drive to the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. We are five minutes from the Brevard Music Center, home of the Mountain Song Festival and many other exciting musical events throughout the season.brbrYou can get to Pisgah National Forest in about ten minutes, the DuPont State Forest is about a 20 minute drive, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. The Mountain Oasis home is new to VRBO in 2022. Built in 2017, it has been extremely well cared for. On the main level, you will find three bedrooms and 2 full baths, the kitchen, a cozy living room, and a laundry area. Upstairs, all of the wood trim, doors and some incredible wall decor (see picture for bedroom #2) came from the trees harvested from the clearing of the property. Downstairs there is a nice rec room, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, large TV, and game table, (pool, ping pong or air hockey), a bedroom with double bed bunk beds, and a 1/2 bath. brbrThe 2.5 acres of the property is surrounded by over 200 acres of preserved forest. We are very secluded with only one neighbor that is not very visible at all. At an elevation of 3500 feet, the mountain oasis faces West/Northwest providing beautiful sunsets in the evening and fabulous cloud lake effects in the morning (see photos), providing truly million-dollar views. The stars and the moon at night are phenomenal. brbrOutside on the lower level there is a large firepit and grassy area. Firewood is there for you to purchase but you need to bring your own lighter fluid or starter logs. As we move to the downstairs you will notice the custom stairs that gives you a fancy feel as you drop in to the first king size bedroom. The king size room provides you with amply amount of space to store your belongings. Now, as we shift into the open floor plan of the queen size room you will notice the continuance of the fireplace. Hello, I'm Roger and my wife is Michelle. We both welcome you to our cozy little home away from home. Our house is a 2-story house with all bedrooms and full baths on the second floor. It is located approximately 3 miles from shopping at the lovely downtown Brevard. You can drive or for the cycling enthusiasts, the bike path to town is about a 1/4 mile from the house. This features a nice little stroll through places not viewable from the main highways also on the bike path, where you can access the Pisgah national forest. The Forest is a short ride, and on this ride, you'll pass by ECUSTA BREWERY one of our many local breweries with local made beer and delicious food. We are also located within 1 mile of the entrance to Camp Carolina. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, laundry area, cozy back yard with a flowing stream and fire pit area to enjoy the sounds of the water trickling over the rocks for an evening of relaxation!! For all bike enthusiasts we also have shed in the rear of the house with a sidewalk leading to it to lock up your bikes. Also, for the convenience of our guests, we have chosen to keep the rental rate at 1 price 7 days a week!!! No need to book your stay based on price changes for weekends and holidays.
