Enjoy the ambience of the gas firetable on the deck on cool mountain evenings!brbrHistory buffs will surely enjoy learning that the cabin's driveway was once part of the old ET&WNC railroad line - the line home to Engine #12 that ran through our area in the 1930's tooting her high pitched steam whistle that earned her the nickname Tweetsie. Guests today can still experience the magic of mountain trains by visiting Tweetsie, now over 105 years old, at her namesake theme park Tweetsie Railroad! Thank you for understanding!br4wd is currently REQUIRED - Forever Yesterday is located on a steep, windy gravel mountain road. If you get anxiety in these types of places, we respectfully ask that you book a home on flatter ground.brbrDogs are allowed - the pet fee is $50brMake sure your dogs are listed on the reservationbrDogs are not allowed on furniture. Many homes on the mountain are full time residents.brbrThe end of this road is also a bus stop where children are getting on in the morning and off in the afternoon. Some of them also walk home so please drive slowly and carefully.brbrOur septic system is old and can only handle toilet paper.brbrAs this is the mountains and we often experience storms and high winds, we sometimes experience outages of various kinds. They are almost always turned back on quickly and we won`t be able to give refunds for outages except for on a case by case basis. *If you know you need internet, please consider bringing your own hotspot to avoid missing important meetingsbrbr• If any important items are left behind after your stay, we are happy to mail them back to you! The bedrooms in the cabin have their own HD TV’s with Roku. Free secure internet access is available for your laptops and mobile devices. brThe main level has a great living room with vaulted ceilings, stone gas-log fireplace, 3 leather sofas, TV with surround sound and DVD, a large dining area, breakfast bar, coffee bar and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for dining for 13 guests. It has granite counter tops, glass top stove, French door refrigerator with two ice makers, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining table seats 8-11 people and the breakfast bar adds seating for 3. The breakfast bar allows the open floor plan to the living area so the cooks can be part of the activities in the living room area.
