It was a beautiful cabin and the amenities listed were wonderful. The fireplace was not operational and the owners did their best to have someone come fix it as soon as possible but because we were there for only a weekend it wasn’t able to be fixed. Other than that the area and the home was top notch. We had a wonderful weekend with our family in a beautiful location!

Our stay was wonderful! Enjoyed the cabin and ease of usage of the home. The boys loved the game room. The steps coming down to the cabin were very slick with the rain but ultimately somewhat unavailable with the weather. 10/10 would stay again.

Alpine Log Cabin was a perfect fit for our family. A rustic, beautiful cabin close to hiking and only about 20 minutes from Appalachian State University. The owners did a fabulous job with attention to detail giving you all the information and more in their booklets. Downstairs game room was a big hit for my big kids, but would be for kids of all ages!

This cabin was lovingly decorated. We were impressed that there were labels everywhere telling us which switches did what, where to find things and a book explaining how to make things work. The kitchen had everything imaginable from a waffle maker to a cappuccino maker. The view of the mountains was great too.

Very clean and well decorated. Spectacular views. Well appointed kitchen - everything you need to cook a meal. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfect for a family. The host had everything you might need. The sunrise coffee on the porch, looking out at the mountain view was wonderful.Excellent place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful cabin nestled in quiet mountain neighborhood with gorgeous views. Fully loaded with amenities and extras. Hosts are great to work with. Cabin has amazing paintings to enhance the experience. Will certainly recommend to others and stay again if in the area.

Highly recommend staying here we will be back again for another stay. They made our 10th anniversary wonderful found a cake in the fridge waiting on us. Thank you for your helpfulness and kindness. Found everything as advertised.

My wife and I took our 2 oldest grandchildren for a weekend trip. We loved this house! It was extremely well stocked with just about everything you could think of! We would definitely recommend this house for anyone viewing the Boone, Banner Elk, Seven Devils area.

My family and I wanted a short visit to the mountains and stumbled on this cabin. It is super cute and has a great game room.

The building was very nice and in a good location. The cleanliness needs improved, there was a lot of dust on the ceiling fixtures. There was also only enough dishwasher detergeant for one load of dishes. Overall, it was a good experience and we are thankful for our stay.

We came to the cabin for my birthday with my husband, our 3 year old and my parents! We really enjoyed the house-the game room was a hit. The location is great! We did the Hawksnest snow tubing and highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back.

Nice cabin. Amenities are good. Access to shops, restaurants and attractions is great. We visited Hawksnest Snow Tubing. Some of the furniture and game tables are really wobbley and unstable. There is also a significant tree limb hanging over the property's mailbox and part of the driveway. I saw a couple of german cockroaches in the kitchen in the morning hours.

We arrived and found the property as detailed in the ad. It was spacious and offered plenty of room for the group. We spent our downtime in the basement playing pool, air hockey, and board games! We enjoyed the stay and wish it could have been longer.

We came up here specifically to go skiing at Sugar Mountain. Ended up with plenty of snow and cold weather. Was a bit intimidated with driving to and from the cabin with the weather, but the roads all the way to the cabin was plowed and salted frequently so no issues at all.Location and view was spectacular, even better then the images, with views and plenty of deer to watch. The cabin itself was very spacious, we are a family of 5 with a golden retriever. Plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen was stocked with spices, sugar, flour, oil, etc. Much better than most cabins. Can't wait to go back!

Quaint cabin enjoyed by entire family. Good location, great game room, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and stunning view of the mountains. Hope to return in the future.

The cabin was exactly as described, the owners were very attentive and thoughtful, even leaving a birthday card for our birthday girl! We pretty much wanted for nothing, as the place is VERY WELL STOCKED for cooking and entertainment.

We loved our stay at Alpine Cabin. The property description and information is accurate. The home is well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The house was decorated for the holidays. The view from the back deck is absolutely stunning. We had a few days with snow and the roads were well taken care of. We will be back soon!

Our stay was at the end of August. Booking was easy. Communication with the owners was simple and they are very responsive and informative. The home is very, very nice. Well kept. Hard to think of an amenity that is not already taken care of. Tons of information at the home to make our stay relaxing. Location is close to everything. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved every minute of our stay. The sunrise was amazing and Carole and Forest are super accommodating. The location is great to get to blowing rock, banner elk and there is plenty to do in seven devils Would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay. The game room was used every day after we had been out hiking or doing Alpine Coaster. The two porches were enjoyable as well.
