Welcome to Deerwood Manor! brbrTucked in the mountainside of Valle Crucis, this newly renovated mountain home is considerately outfitted with five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The spacious living room has a woodburning fireplace, large TV, and comfortable, large sectional for everyone to gather. Off the living and kitchen area, step out to the dining room. With glass walls, you'll feel at one with nature as you gaze out to the trees. The well-stocked kitchen has granite counters and a large island with built in cooktop. The breakfast nook by the windows is perfect for a cup of tea in the morning.brbrThere are bedrooms on each level of this three story home. On the main level is a king suite with a custom tiled shower and double vanity with one-of-a-kind concrete and river rock counters. A large, walk-in closet is available for guest use. Across the hall is a queen bedroom that has hallway access to the second full bathroom on the main level. This bath has a tiled shower and granite counters, and opens to the hallway for shared use from the living area.brbrUpstairs are two bedrooms with a shared bathroom between the two. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a small sleeper-chair for children to be kept close. The shared bathroom is accessed directly from either bedroom and has a tub/shower combination and double vanity.brbrOn the lower level is the fifth and final bedroom. This queen bedroom accesses the bathroom in the hallway, where you'll find another tub/shower combination. Also on the lower level is the game room, complete with pool table, ping-pong table, sectional, and large screen TV. Fire up the wood stove to create an even cozier ambiance. Off of the lower level game room is a smaller deck with dining space for six.brbrStep outside to the main level deck and spend your evenings on the sectional sofa around the gas fire-table. The family can relax here and know their little ones are safe to explore and play. Walk quietly, and you'll likely see the many deer in the area most mornings and evenings.brbrDeerwood Manor is a 3 minute drive to the historic Original Mast General Store, Mas General Store Annex, Mast Farm, and the beautiful Valle Crucis Community Park, and seasonally there is an ice cream shop next to the Mast General Store Annex. Birds Nest Retreat is a beautiful three bedroom home in the Village of Eagles Nest. Down a private lane, you'll find the perfect retreat. Enjoy the fabulous touches inside, or spend your evening at the outdoor fireplace enjoying the mountain views. From the entryway, you'll be drawn in by the beautiful views of the dining and living area. Table seating for eight at the dining table, or sit at the large, granite island at one of the three barstools. The kitchen has a large gas range, drawers to keep everything organized, and a Keurig. The living room features comfortable seating, a gas log fireplace, 75 TV, and a wine station for entertaining. Wine glasses, high balls, they have it all! brbrThe main level has a laundry center in the hallway, a powder room near the entrance. The king suite is on this level, with a ceiling fan, large walk in closet, and fabulous bath. The private bath has a large tiled shower with a bench and a large soaking tub with a wand. The double granite vanity has beautiful, white raised vessel sinks.brbrUpstairs is a second king bed, also with a ceiling fan. A Jack and Jill bath connects the second bedroom, with a deep tub/shower combo and granite counters. The bunk room has two sets of twin over twin bunks, one on each side. In the center of the room is a 55 TV, a PlayStation4, and a comfortable couch to sit upon. The owner provides a small selection of games, or bring your own favorite with you. In the nook near the staircase is a desk, in case you have to bring a bit of work with you.brbrThe deck has a covered section with wood burning fireplace, sectional seating, hot tub, and a 55 TV. The open half features an outdoor dining area and a new Weber grill.brbrPlease note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Enjoy the view from the porch swing or the provided dining table and chairs. The garage can also be accessed from this level for ease of unloading baggage and groceries, and there is an adjoining large laundry room with new front loader washer/dryer and additional storage space and a powder room off the foyer. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. br- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods.
