Ferienhaus has a big living room with a wall of windows overlooking First Lake on the Fulton Chain. For warm days and nights, you can sit on the front deck or boathouse for eating or sunbathing, but for chilly nights or rainy days curl up near the wood-burning stove in the front living room. We offer 5G Wifi and have a Smart TV in the living room with a pull-out couch for movie nights. The decor is ADK camp style and has a lodge feel with antique skis, paddles, and snowshoes. For entertaining, there is a bar that seats 4 off of the living room for pouring cocktails. In the kitchen, there is a large dining table that seats 10 for big events and dinners. If you love grilling there is an enclosed porch off the side of the kitchen with a Weber grill and table that seats 6. There is a main bathroom off the kitchen that has a bathtub with a shower. For privacy, there is also another bathroom in the master suite, which has a King bed for sprawling out. There are 3 bedrooms in total. One bedroom has a Queen bed right next to the main bathroom. The next bedroom has a Queen bed and near the back of the camp. The highlight for kikds is the loft with a main living space. If you love the water then you'll spend most of your time on top of the deck at the boathouse or the deck off the camp. There are two docks. One dock is next to an open space for walking into the water. It has a sandy bottom and is 4 feet deep. If you are a boater there is a public launch close by. There are 6 parking spaces for you and your guests. If you snowmobile the parking is perfect for your sleds. For the snowmobiling enthusiast, there are rideable roads and a trailer marker right out your door. Linens not provided. Must be arranged at booking for 150.00 fee.

The property is in the village of Old Forge and is adjacent to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari and directly on the TOBIE bicycle and snow mobile trail. The Fulton Chain Brewery, with a wide selection of local brews on tap and live entertainment, is a quick minute walk from the front door. Downtown, Old Forge Pond (access point to the Fulton Chain of Lakes) and Beach, the Moose River, restaurants, shops, hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, and recreational sport fields and courts are all within a five minute walk from the house. The George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center (North Street Pavillion), home to feativals, antique and car shows, and soccer tournaments, is down the hill from the house. A newly renovated, fully equipped fitness center with day rates operates across the street to accommodate travelers. The Enchanted Forest Water Safari is literally in the back yard and is a two minute walk to the front entrance offering visitors the more water rides than any other theme park in New York State.brbrbrFor the autumn and winter enthusiasts, downhill skiing and snowboarding and many mountain hiking traills are within a ten minute ride from the house. McCauley Mountain offers four seasons of scenic trails and winter activities with access to its peak via a classic chair lift. McCauley Mountain is a short trip through the village and its peak can be seen from the top of the street. Bald Mountain is a quick ten minute car ride north and offers breathtaking views atop the firetower at its peak with a family friendly trail leading the way. A recently renovated recreational paradise on the water in the Adirondacks with 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. The Adirondack Stags Leap vacation home was built as a large single-family summer home in the 1930's in the historic Adirondack Camp style, with major renovations in 2016-2019. It was designed by a well-known Adirondack architect on a double lot that includes a wooded area, private tennis court, volleyball courts (sand & grass), large yard, fire pit, boathouse with dock and wide waterfront. This camp offers incredible recreation and living space for multiple families, couples, friends, or extended families alike. It is ideal for a revitalizing spring, a fun-filled summer and an adventurous autumn and the famous Adirondack color-changing leaves. We have magnificent trees on sight and the fall view of the hillside across the Channel is a must-see. brbrThe Camp includes a comfortable lodge-style living room with fireplace and wide screen TV with cable with a selection of movie channels, a brand new large kitchen with island seating 6, and a dining area with antique table seating at least 8-10. The kitchen opens up to a large deck (one of two decks) with picnic tables and barbecue nearby and traditional Adirondack chairs. Three of the 6 bedrooms offer king-size beds (linens provided) with private or semi-private bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms offer 2 twin beds each, one of which is on the first floor with easy access. an en-suite bathroom and TV. The sixth bedroom is a bunk room with two bunk beds; both beds are full-size on bottom and regular-twin on top. The home is fully heated with dual modern furnaces, if needed.brbrOutdoor living features a large screened-in porch with seating and a table, a sitting deck, the previously mentioned enormous off-kitchen deck, patio area and a large front lawn, providing ample space to read a book, hold great conversations, or just watch and wave as the boats go by on the channel. The property covers approximately 2.5 acres and includes rustic woods, private tennis & picketball court with basketball hoop, sand volleyball court, grass volleyball/badminton area (or bocce lawn), fire pit, patio sitting areas, waterfront dock, and a boat house with an open slip.
