May 2024 bookings are now available.brbrOur cozy two bedroom, one bathroom smoke free cottage/condo with a boat slip is part of a private six-unit waterfront association on Paugus Bay and is ideal for small families of up to 4 or for casual couples looking for some time together. Though not considered a "waterfront" property, just a short walk from our large attached deck down to the lake, you'll find 150' of private association waterfront with swimming only a few steps away. It's only about thirty steps from our door to the clear, clean water of Paugus Bay, and you won't need to cross the street to get to the water or our dock. The cottage/condo is clean, efficient and cozy inside with an updated kitchen area with a double oven, microwave, large refrigerator/freezer and a K machine.brbrThere are two small bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and another with two twin beds. Each bedroom offers underbed storage and a small dresser. Each bedroom features Smart TV technology so you can access your own streaming services. The kitchen area and living room area combine for openness and cozy seating. In the living room area there is another flat screen TV with SmartTV capabilities and DVD player. A dining area with a high-top table offers casual indoor seating for four. Our small bathroom has a tub/shower combo. A quiet and comfortable mini-split A/C unit will cool the entire space for your comfort and 5G WiFi is also available throughout to help you stay connected when liquid sunshine makes an appearance. At 540 sq. ft., our cottage is ideal for families of four or couples who are looking for a casual place to enjoy water based activities.brbrWe offer use of our slip for a boat up to 27' boat so you can cruise around Lake Winnipesaukee, score some fish from any number of well known fishing spots...or maybe you have your own secret spot. Boat rentals are available from a number of local marinas also. Please be aware that Paugus Bay is a very active boating area of Lake Winnipesaukee and frequent large wakes should be expected. Guests who plan to use our dock need to bring their own lines capable of properly securing your boat; to protect your boat and our dock from any potential damage that may be caused by wakes/waves. Any dock damage will be charged accordingly. Specific instructions on how to secure your boat at our dock will be provided. Paugus Bay is a busy part of the lake and it is critical that your boat is secured properly, to prevent damage to your boat and to our dock.brbrA large attached deck off of our cottage has a propane grill, casual patio furniture and offers a great elevated westerly view of Paugus Bay for you to enjoy evenings with family. Early evening is also prime time to catch an amazing sunset either from the waterfront or from our deck. Our private association waterfront offers easy access to the clear water of Paugus Bay with a nice clean sandy bottom, or you can jump in the water from either of two large docks that are part of our association. You're sure to meet new friends down by the water. You'll find lounge chairs and plenty of room at the edge of the water to enjoy the sun.brbrOur place is ideally located on Weirs Blvd. and is within a short distance of Weirs Beach, Laconia Municipal Airport, Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, several marinas, many restaurants, plenty of shopping as well as many other lakes region area attractions and activities. The Lakes Region offers so much for so many of all ages. Off-street parking for two standard vehicles is available during your stay but unfortunately trailer parking is NOT available on site. Some local marinas do offer short term parking of trailers. Laconia is a popular destination for motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the year and sitting on the deck of our home you'll be able to watch - and hear - some really cool motorcycles go by on the road while you watch some really nice boats go by on the water. You're also sure to see the Winnipesaukee Railroad go by across the bay and you might even be lucky enough to watch a float-plane make an approach for a water landing. Our location right on Weirs Blvd. keeps you close to the heart of everything that the Laconia area has to offer.brbrCheck the concert schedule for the nearby Bank of NH Pavilion and maybe catch a concert from top performers. Past performers have included; Zac Brown Band, Dave Matthews Band, Bush with Live and Our Lady Peace, Chris Stapleton, Chicago, Nickelback, James Taylor, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Peter Frampton, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al Yankovic, Jason Aldean, Alanis Morissette, Train & Goo Goo Dolls or Hootie & the Blowfish just to name a few. Shopping at the Tanger Outlets in Tilton is a close drive or make a day trip to see the summit of Mt. Washington which is only about a two hour drive. NASCAR fans can enjoy the New Hampshire Motor Speedway which is just a thirty minute drive away. There are lots of local options for hiking, biking, walking trails, kayaking or anything outdoors. Just down the road you'll find mini-golf, ziplines, a ropes course, drive-in theater and a really cool place for kids of all ages; FunSpot, known as the largest arcade in the world offering three floors of new and classic arcade games along with many other indoor activities. The Mill Falls Marketplace in Meredith is just a short drive by car or by boat and offers several restaurants to enjoy a dinner, either casual or upscale, and a bunch of quaint shops to get some Lakes Region souvenirs.brbrOur Laconia cottage is perfect for people looking for a small & cozy place that's in the heart of all the activity and attractions as opposed to a quiet, secluded mountain cottage hidden away from everything.brbrGuests are advised that our property is currently listed for sale. This can include equipment breakdown, mechanical failure, weather impacted issues or any other situation not reasonably foreseen. When this happens we will notify all confirmed guests as soon as we become aware of the issue. A refund, partial or otherwise, is not guaranteed but we will make every reasonable effort to ensure that your stay is not interrupted because of the issue.
