The area beyond the driveway is a septic leach field, not for recreation.brbrOther things to notebrPlease note, this is a rustic vacation home in the woods, built in 1981 in a style typical of the area. It is not a modern luxury resort. Our 5-star rating and Super Host status are due to the fact that we accurately describe the home and its amenities. We aim to charge a rate commensurate with 2 local hotel rooms. We keep it clean, but it is a bit worn around the edges like a favorite book. We love that about it, and hope you do, too.brbrFor guests with allergies: We are pet friendly. We thoroughly clean the house and launder all linens between stays, but despite best efforts, traces of pet hair or dander may remain. Guests with allergies or sensitivities should use their best judgment when booking, as we cannot guarantee a hypoallergenic environment.brbrAlso note, this is not a good house to rent if you’re looking to throw a party. The home is in a quiet family neighborhood with many full-time residents, and we have strict quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am so we can be good neighbors, follow town ordinances, and continue to welcome guests into our home. Our neighbor will call the police (and us) if there is a wild party.brbrWhile we are happy to welcome children, the house is not child-proofed and has many stairs and low windows. We consider ourselves family friendly and offer a pack-and-play crib with a fitted sheet, 2 safety gates you may use, and a strap-in booster chair. You won't find any precious breakables anywhere, especially not on low shelves.brbrThe house is not ADA compliant. There is a set of stairs to enter the house and there are three stories of living space.
