You'll love Riley's Lodge, named after our beloved black lab who we adored for a wonderful 14.5 years.brThe spacebrRiley's Lodge is cozy yet spacious and has all the comfort of home. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove/oven, full size refrigerator, and all the kitchen gadgets you need including a Keurig, 12-cup coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The open concept master bedroom is upstairs with a queen bed and en suite. Two more bedrooms are located on the first floor with ample beds. There is another full bathroom on the first floor with a beautiful large walk-in shower. There is a tv in the main living room as well as the finished basement where you will find a pullout couch and a futon. Need laundry done The washer and dryer is in the basement laundry room. Enjoy playing games or doing a puzzle in the breezy and bright sunroom.brbrThe house has central air conditioning, great water pressure, and clean tasting well water. Bedding and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. The fire pit and wood stove are yours to enjoy. Use with caution! The house sleeps 8 guests. The interior is open plan with a kitchen, dining room area and living area overlooking the private beach and lake. brThe bathroom was redone and has a walk in shower. brAll the beds are under 5 years old. We employ professional cleaners to keep the house fresh and smart. The house is orientated to the West and sunsets can be enjoyed from the deck, or inside. The kitchen is modern with new appliances including an ice maker and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with state of the art washer and dryer.brThe property has wireless fast fibre optic WI-FI. There is a smart TV with sound-bar and speakers. brThe beach has an aluminium dock in the summer and can take a motor boat. This can be put in via Danforth Campground opposite for a small fee. The beach is private to the house and the water wonderful for swimming and fishing. brWe are on several cross country ski trails in winter and about 10 minutes drive from King Pine. A third bedroom is right off the loft, featuring two full beds and a half bath. Regardless of the season, all will sleep comfortably, with central air conditioning and heat throughout. The first floor bathroom has a shower stall, with soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and towels available for your convenience. The basement is unfinished space and not for use by guests; however, it does give you access to a clothes washer, dryer, and iron/board should you need them. Your lakefront getaway is situated in a no-wake cove, perfect in the summer for wading or floating in the lake away from boat traffic. You also have access to your own private dock, so feel free to bring or rent a pontoon boat or jet skis. Broad Bay opens into Lake Ossipee so you can enjoy boating on the entire lake. A public boat launch is nearby, and our property has ample parking to store your boat trailer during your stay. In the winter, you can park your snow mobile trailer and enjoy the local trails or head out to some of the local ski slopes. Of course, you’re in the White Mountains, so nature lovers will find plenty of hiking trails around too. Rainy day - don’t worry, we have family friendly board games and video games you can use, or take a drive up to North Conway to shop at the outlets. No pets or indoor smoking please. We welcome children, though the home is not ‘toddler-proof’ and children should be supervised around the lake at all times.
