Gunstock Mountain for skiing, tubing, sledding, snow shoeing, Winnipesaukee, Alton Bay are great for day trips and boating. Barnstead has many year round activities such as snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and lake access.brThe spacebrThis home features a ton of relaxing things to do in a very private country setting. This home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen and appliances w a cozy living room. Also has another spacious living room area for larger groups and gatherings or game night & large game room featuring a pool table also. We also have an open outdoor deck that has a large BBQ, seating and Hottub. There is also easy access to the lake where you can enjoy boating and many other water activities in the warmer months. Center Barnstead has the historic main street. The Suncook River winds through Barnstead and is made up of woodlands, lakes and agricultural fields, therefore there are many year round activities such as snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The Route 28 corridor runs through the town, giving tourists easy access to the lake and mountain regions for skiing and boating. (Any large groups is subject to an up charge, prices might vary depending on number of guests).

The Locke Lake Community has several private beaches, a tennis court and a 6-hole golf course, all free for guests. Nearby are many attractions, including bike trails, zip lines and gondola rides. Within 15 minutes you can be hiking the famous Mount Major trail and others, or visiting Alton Bay with its marina and water-side restaurants. Within 30 minutes, Gunstock Mountain offers hikes and skiing; you can catch a steamship crossing Lake Winnepesaukee at the pretty village of Wolfeboro, and Weirs Beach offers plenty of fun for the family. It records audio/visual when motion is detected and ceases when motion ends. It is not actively monitored and reviewed solely in emergencies or for damage assessment. The house is located on a quiet dirt road off of Varney Road and is equipped with high-speed WiFi and cable television.brbrOur home accommodates up to 8 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults at all times. Children under the age of 3 do not count in the 8-person maximum. We do not allow smoking, large events, or parties on our property.brbrEnjoy our private 75 foot, well maintained sandy beach and dock, zero gravity beach chairs and in-ground fire pit which is perfect for relaxing by the fire and roasting marshmallows. Relax on lake time, enjoying beautiful summer days, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and star lit evenings on our private beach.brbrOur beach water area is spacious and is shallow enough for young children to enjoy a clean, sandy bottom, with a gentle slope into the deeper water just past the dock. Included with your rental are 2 paddle boards, two 1-person kayaks, one 2-person kayak, one 3-person canoe, and a 5-person paddleboat. Life jackets are provided for children and adults.brbrBring your fishing gear! Fishing is plentiful on Locke Lake with freshwater bass, trout and perch (per NH law, a NH fishing license is required for anyone 16 years or older). The upstairs bedrooms have queen-size beds, with one bedroom containing a twin mattress (and an air mattress) suitable for children to use on the floor. There is also a portable Pack N' Play (with sheets and a blanket) which can be used in any bedroom.brbrLinens, pillows and blankets are provided for each of the beds at no additional charge.brbrThe first-floor bathroom is next to the master bedroom and has a shower stall. The second-floor bathroom connects to both bedrooms and has a full-size shower and bathtub.
