This small cottage is by a brook, 1 mile from the center of New London and less than a mile from beautiful hiking trails. A deck provides views of a woodsy yard. The back of the house is a screened in porch above the brook, where you'll feel as if you're in a tree house (warmer months only.) It’s quiet yet it's only a short drive to hiking, skiing, restaurants, and shops—perfect as a writing or painting retreat. brbrTwo indoor cats will be in residence -when requesting an exchange, please indicate that you enjoy cats and will care for them during your stay.brbrThere is a queen bed in an upstairs bedroom. Seasonally, another queen bed is available on a screened-in porch by the brook. I have a twin bedroom that I use for personal storage but if needed, can be made available.brbrThis is my primary residence so there are personal items in the home.
