This cottage is close to the dozens of wineries and craft breweries in southwest Michigan. After you enjoy all Grande Mere has to offer, you can relax on the large screened-in porch, or prepare dinner in the spacious, modern kitchen. This cottage boasts an open, airy floor plan, and two cozy bedrooms, so you can have a great night's rest after fun-filled Lake Michigan days. The cottage sleeps up to 6 adults with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. While this cottage is not lakefront, it is only a 5 minute walk from Lake Michigan public beach access. We are located off I-94 just a short 90 minutes drive from Chicago, 2.5 hours from Detroit and 3 hours from Indianapolis. brbrPlease note that current water levels have caused some erosion on the nearest public beach as several trees fell into the water. Most of these trees have been cut and cleared but there are still some portions of the trees/brush on the beach. The beach is still accessible and useable, however it is not as picturesque due to the erosion. There are also two other beaches very close: (1) Lincoln Township Beach which is about 1.5 miles away at 3655 N Lake Path, Stevensville and (2) Grand Mere State Park which is 1 mile away. Note that at Grand Mere State Park it is about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot to the beach. Other great beaches in the area are Silver Beach in St. Joseph and Weko Beach in Bridgman. brbrThe beach is still useable and the beach conditions could change at any time based on the weather and tides.

In addition, Guest shall incur a fee of $150 per hour for each hour Guest remains on the premises. The hourly fee shall accrue without limitation, be invoiced daily, and become immediately due and payable upon receipt of the invoice.brbrThe Guest and all persons listed under them on this Agreement understand that their rental of this property is at their sole risk and hereby agree to indemnify, completely and fully release and hold harmless the Owners, Property Management, their agents and employees, and the property, against any and all claims of personal injury, including death, or property damage, or loss, including but not limited to all attorney’s fees incurred, arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, death or loss, regardless of what causes such injuries, or damage, including those of any third persons. Except as stated herein, the Guests are renting the premises in its As-Is condition upon check-in date and agrees to take good care of said premises. This care includes not making any alterations, additions, repairs or improvements and/or any removal of the Owner’s personal property from the premises without the approval of the Owner/Agent. While all electrical and mechanical equipment within the Property are in good working order, Owner cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of electrical service, stopped plumbing, water supply, heating, air conditioning, audio visual equipment, internet access, or appliances. Guest agrees to report any inoperative equipment or other maintenance problem to Owner immediately. Owner will make reasonable efforts to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Guest will allow Owner or a person permitted by Owner access to the Property for purposes of repair, maintenance, and inspection. Owner is not responsible for any inconvenience that may occur and no refunds/rent reductions will be made due to failure of such items. By electronically agreeing to this lease, the Renter has read, fully understands, and agreed to all the terms and conditions included in this agreement.
