We also have a huge backyard, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.brbrMain floor includes a spacious kitchen with all the amenties plus an island with seating for two; dining room seats four with open access to the kitchen, enclosed front sunroom, bright bathroom with separate tub and shower, primary bedroom with queen bed and direct bathroom access; and living area with t.v. and pull out sofa. Upstairs has another full bathroom with shower, a bunk bed (two twins) and one single bed, and a separate room with a queen bed and t.v. Free laundry (washer/dryer) located in the basement. The primary bedroom overlooks the lake and offers a queen size bed, the west bedroom offers a private full bathroom with step in shower, a queen size bed and a trundle with two twin beds, and the middle bedroom offers a queen size bed and bunk bed with two twin beds. The second full bathroom offering a bathtub and shower is also located on the upper level. Tucked away on the upper level, you will also find a cozy reading nook. It's sure to be a hit with the youngsters! The walk-out basement doubles as the 4th bedroom and makes for the perfect hangout for all ages offering a foosball table, Smart TV and two twin over full bunk sets. The main level sunroom offers a daybed for an additional sleeping accommodations. brbrAmongst the expansive open floor plan of the main level, spacious upper level, cozy reading nook, and the walkout basement/game room/fourth bedroom there is plenty of space for all to enjoy. For your comfort and convenience our home is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a gas fireplace, main floor washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a second Smart TV located in the living room. We also have a Generac Generator, so you never have to worry about loosing power if a bad storm hits the area during your stay! The half bath, located on the main level is handicap accessible. We also provide a high chair and pack n play for those traveling with young children. brbrOutside, you have your own private beach/campfire area with a rowboat, canoe, 4 kayaks, a dock, and complete freedom to enjoy private Oxbow Lake. We provide ample firewood, so no need to buy it elsewhere. Oxbow Lake is 100 feet deep, and has excellent fishing year round. While the lake is perfect for canoeing/kayaking and passing the time gathered around the lake front, it is not very suitable for swimming due to the vegetation that grows along the frontage. There is no public boat launch on the lake, but you may bring your own trolling motor for the row boat. The deck overlooking the lake provides a gas grill and outdoor dining accommodations. brbrIf you'd like to see other sights, Ludington is only 12 minutes away, with the new Stix restaurant/bar, Jamesport Brewery, or Ludington's own House of Flavors, where it all started. Pentwater is 10 minutes, and Ludington State Park is 20 minutes. Several Lake Michigan beaches are located within 10 - 15 minutes including Ludington's Stearns Park Beach, Summit Park, Buttersville Park, and Pentwater Beach. There are also many local golf courses, winery's, restaurants, and much more. Visit the S.S. This historical home was built in 1868, and for locals was known as Coho Bob's since the 1930's. The cottage is in a prime location, only 2 blocks from downtown shopping, dining, and the marinas. Enjoy a 10 minute walk to the channel, which leads to the pier, and Mears State Park where you can enjoy the beach and the most incredible Lake Michigan sunsets. The cottage is filled with beautiful knotty pine walls throughout the home. The two downstairs bedrooms have new mattresses purchased in 2020. The large beautiful living room has plenty of seating, Wi-Fi, a large flat screen Smart TV for all your favorite streaming apps, DVD player, with lots of movies, games, books, and puzzles. (No Cable). Home has central air. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you would need for your stay: microwave, dishwasher, griddle, toaster, coffee pot, crock pot/roaster, pots, pans, popcorn popper, dishes, and utensils. Bath towels are provided for home use, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. The dining room has a large oak table, that stores two additional leaves if needed. On the side of the house there is an enclosed porch, with lots of screened windows for you to enjoy. On the patio there is a table, chairs, and grill for your use. Bicycles are to stay outside, and not be stored in the house. If you are concerned about bike theft, please bring a lock. As a reminder this is a non-smoking, no pet home (Sorry, no exceptions due to allergies). We also ask that due to the age of this home you do not use any candles, open flames, or fireworks in or near the home during your stay. Due to Covid-19 we are taking extra safety precautions. In addition to being thoroughly cleaned before the arrival of guests, commonly touched areas will be disinfected. There will also be disinfecting wipes and disinfecting spray available for your use. The Master bedroom located on the main floor has a queen sized and a twin bed, bedroom two has a full sized bed, twin bed and daybed; and bedroom three has twin sized bunk beds. Linens and towels provided. There is a portable a/c unit in the first floor master bedroom.brThe kitchen is fully furnished: stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
