Fill the supplied wagon with included chairs and head down to the lake (see photos of beach). Visitors will enjoy visiting nearby Glen Arbor (4.5 miles), crystal river (2.5 miles), sleeping bear dunes (8.1 miles), boat rentals on Glen Lake (try On the Narrows Marina), and sleeping bear national park (all around). Hikes abound on the countless trails through the sleeping bear national park (nps.gov) or bike rides on the infamous sleeping bear heritage trail. Mountain bikers can explore Palmer woods forest reserve (2 miles). Or relax on the patio and grill out. Finish it off with s’mores over the fire overlooking 12 acres of wildlife. Glen Lake is at the end of our street (5 houses up) with lake access at the road end. Tons of beautiful beach options within ten minutes. Launch a kayak or SUP. We have two bikes here for use as well. Close to downtown Glen Arbor (less than 10 minutes), Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, the Heritage Trail. 25 minutes to Traverse City for the Traverse City Film and Cherry Festivals. So much to see and do!brbrUpdated home can accommodate a large family, two or three families or a group. Sleeps up to 16 (8 beds even though home page says 7-will not update). On the main level is the kitchen, dining area, living room, guest half bathroom, laundry, master bedroom #1, master bath, walk-in closet, and guest bedroom #2, access to front and back patios. Lower level are bedrooms #3 and #4, full bath, rec room and walk-out to the front yard. Outside backyard includes dining and seating areas for enjoying the beautiful summer and autumn evenings, grill, additional seating area with fire pit, elevated camping area in woods with a second fire pit. Please put out fire after use with sand in metal tin. New appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, disposal, microwave, counter-top stove and oven. Air conditioning. Great kitchen and pantry. Big bathrooms and showers. brbrFor safety and security, please be advised there is an outdoor security camera but NOT in the entertaining areas, video only. NO events please. With 4.5 bathrooms, all guests will feel right at home. The property also features an outdoor 8 person hot tub, propane fire pit, EV charger A/C and heat, and necessary toiletries. We think our place will help you experience everything the Glen Lake area has to offer. While not “lakefront,” a Glen Lake public access beach is a .25 mile walk down a gravel road. Fill the supplied wagon with included chairs, inflatables, and beverages and head down to the lake ( see photos of beach). Visitors will enjoy visiting nearby Glen arbor ( 4.5 miles), crystal river (2.5 miles) sleeping bear dunes (8.1 miles), boat rentals on Glen Lake ( try On The Narrows Marina), and sleeping bear national park ( all around), and skiing at Crystal Mountain. Hikes abound on countless trails through the sleeping bear national park ( nps.gov) or bike rides of the infamous sleeping bear heritage trail. Mountain bikers can explore Palmer woods forest reserve ( 2m). The basement is fully equipped with a game room ( ping pong and foosball) and a separate movie room. brOr relax on the patio and grill out. Finish it off with s’mores on a propane fire pit overlooking 12 acres of wildlife. Walk the pictured 0.6 mile loop on the property through the woods. Don’t forget to say hello to our resident bald eagle and 5 point buck.
