Built in 1918, this historic duplex has been beautifully remodeled and cared for. The front porch faces 5th street, and every evening a 20 minute walk takes you to the end of the Grand Haven pier to watch the sunset; your own 'Key West' experience in Michigan. Our home is located in a quaint neighborhood and is just minutes from Lake Michigan beaches, downtown shopping, restaurants and fun! A 10 minute walk takes you to the local YMCA and the area's Imagination Station, tennis & pickleball courts and skate park. The house is perfect for week long vacations, weekend getaways and as a cozy fall or winter retreat. The main floor has an open kitchen to dining room area (13x17) with a separate 13 x 21 living room. Games, beach toys and a table for puzzles is also provided. A half bath is off of the kitchen. Laundry facilities are located in the basement as are the beach toys, chairs, towels and cooler and propane tank for the grill. The house has hardwood floors throughout and 9 foot ceilings. It has a full size washer/dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, wifi. This is a great vacation spot in the heart of Grand Haven. I love nice linens and quality bath products and I provide the best to my guests as well. The queen bed is memory foam and the pillows are comfortable so you will be too. The couches are comfortable and there is a smart TV in the living room. Please note: This unit is on the second floor of a duplex. Because the home was built in 1880, the stairs were built on more steep incline than modern steps. It is not a good option for children or people with mobility issues.
