The guest room also is configured with a queen bed. The guest bath includes a full shower and is located just off the hallway. A full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, a large dining room and convenient laundry room is included. Ceiling fans are in both bedrooms and living room providing great ventilation, but to maximize comfort our unit has air conditioning. Off the back of the house is a large two level deck with the most spectacular views of Big Glen Lake and Alligator Hill. The shop doors are open enticing you to buy everything from Cherry wine to carved cherry wood tables. Plan accordingly and you can catch an art, polka, or jazz festival. Fall brings a quietness to the town. It's a perfect time to take a color tour through the scenic hills, catch a game of golf, or walk through any number of groomed trails. Perhaps you'll spot a deer, porcupine, red fox, or eagle. Winter fun begins on the down-hill slopes and cross-country trails. The Crystal River is across the parking area, although the beach is the main attraction. Swim, sunbathe, rent kayaks or paddle boards, go boating, biking, hiking, fishing, or climb the nearby Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.brbrThe Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail offers biking, hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing, and more. Shop in Glen Arbor or make the drive to Leland, just twenty minutes away. Casual and fine dining abound in Leelanau county, along with wine tasting at the numerous vineyards. It's impossible to be bored!brbrOur condo is a third story, walk-up unit, with an amazing view of the beach and Sleeping Bear Bay. The view is worth the price and we've been told it's the best view on the beach. Enjoy star gazing in the evening, or watch freighters ply the straits between the Manitou Islands while sipping your morning coffee. Our location is family friendly, but we are not child proofed or equipped for small children. brbrWe are between the Crystal River, and Lake Michigan, so it's just a few steps to tubing the river or sitting on the beach.
