It’s the kind of house that is made for an episode of “Home Town” on HGTV. The bathroom is in the center of the home and is a passageway from the kitchen to the middle bedroom. The master bedroom was originally a parlor room therefore there is no bedroom door. Instead, Curtains provide privacy from the sitting room. There is also no AC in the home - it is cooled the old-fashioned way but fans, newer windows in many rooms and the porch doors provide plenty of breeze.brbrOutside: Large corner lot with parking space for up to 4 vehicles. Covered parking for two vehicles. A large city park is across Division Street behind the house and is great for playing catch with the dog! If you are looking for the perfect location with an outstanding view. This is the place for you. We sit on 9 acres overlooking the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. You can rent a watercraft directly across the road at Summertime rental. Take one of our canoes down the Jordan river and float all the way back home. There are two public beaches less than a mile away in either direction. Next to the Tourist Park, there are tennis and basketball courts. We have two wedding venues less than two miles away, The Jordan Valley Barn and the Boathouse. Castle Farms and Charlevoix are 9 miles away. Boyne Mt and Boyne city are 10 miles away. This is a multi-family home and can sleep 16. There are living rooms in the upper and lower level of the house. So, the kids can be downstairs and have their own privacy, with room to play. If the kids are adventurous, bring sleeping bags and they can pitch our tent in the yard. They should have no problem being entertained. We have two Smart TVs, board games, horseshoes, cornhole, two canoes and a firepit with a beautiful view. East Jordan is still a quiet little town but up and coming. You can fish, hunt, hike, mountain bike, boat, float and many more things, right here in East Jordan. In the winter the snowmobile trail goes right behind the house and of course Boyne Mt for skiing. I live in the area and can help with any questions you may have. The house has been totally remodeled and is perfect for larger groups..

Use will require walking floating or swimming out to mooring buoy for usage at this point. brbr The cottage sits down a private drive with only two other homes down the driveway lending to a very quiet and secluded atmosphere.
