Our dog friendly, three bedroom, two bathroom home has space for all and is perfect for families and friends, looking to play hard and rest well.brbrThe spacebrOur home is a split level, with three sizable bedrooms and a full bathroom on the upper level, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room on the main level, and a game room, full bathroom, and laundry room on the lower level. Our outdoor space features a picnic table, back deck, and fire pit surrounded by a spacious back yard lined with mature trees. brbrStart your morning enjoying a cup of local coffee on the private back porch in the morning. Go on an adventure to St Joseph, just 9 miles to the south, or South Haven 17 miles north. Enjoy the many wineries, breweries, beaches, and fruit farms of southern Michigan. Or stay close to home, walk (10 minutes) or drive (2 minutes) through our neighborhood and across M-63 to Hagar Beach Park where you and the kids can play on the playground, or read books on the beach. Grab dinner at Del Maggios pizza just down the road and end your day with a game night in the basement or smores by the fire pit!brbrGuest accessbrYou’ll have the entire house to yourself! Please note, you will have to climb 7 steps to get to the bedrooms and the bathrooms. You can park multiple cars in the driveway, but the garage is locked. As for getting into the home, we use an electronic keypad and will send you the code a few days before your stay!brbrOther things to notebrWe stock the kitchen with basic seasonings, cooking oil, and coffee so feel free to take those things off your grocery list. Our game room has a foosball table and game table as well as board games and card games. If you’re not a board game person, feel free to borrow a book from our mini library. If you’re feeling outdoorsy we have spike ball and Kan Jam you can set up in the yard. br brHagar Park Beach is 0.4 miles from the house, across M-63. We love this public park/beach!! It has a fenced-in playground by the parking lot, then you’ll go down A LOT of stairs to get to the beach. The cottage has an assortment of beach toys and chairs that is available for guest use. brbrMy family is from Coloma and, while I grew up in the Indianapolis area, my summers were spent escaping to Lake Michigan. I have so many beautiful memories in Southern Michigan, from sun filled family vacations, to spur of the moment weekends with friends, to getaways recentering myself on the shores of the Lake. The property boasts a 100 foot dock, a large yard for family games, a hot tub, gas grill, multiple private decks overlooking the lake, a fire pit and lake toys for use.brThe house is 4 levels. The first level is a walk-out basement that is the prime movie and sports watching room in the house with an 85 flat-screen TV and a massive sectional. In the winter time you'll stay cozy down there with the radiant heated floors. It also includes one of the five full bathrooms, an exercise room, a laundry room with 2 sets of washer/dryer, extra table seating at the bar table and an extra refrigerator/freezer for additional beverages. brThe main level is an open concept living, dining and kitchen featuring a large, fully stocked chef's kitchen with a 36 Wolf Range, a 9' island that seats 5, a dining table that seats 10, a gas fireplace, a powder room and one of two Master Suites. There is a balcony off of this level that has stairs for easy lake access. It also has outdoor dining for 8 and some seating to relax and take in the views. brThe 2nd level is the bedroom level with 2 beautiful lake-facing king size bedrooms, one of which is the second Master Suite. There is a large children's park nearby just off exit 39 on your way to Paw Paw Lake as well as fishing charters, canoe/kayak and boat rentals nearby. During the winter months there are several nearby ski resorts. There is a sled hill in Watervilet and several snowmobile trails in the SW Michigan area.
