There is a king bed in each of the large upstairs bedrooms, 4 full size twin beds (2 sets of bunk beds) in the third (upper level) bedroom, and a king bed in the fourth (first floor) bedroom. brbrSpacious living area/tv nook on the upper level landing, fully equipped kitchen with upgraded appliances, open dining and living rooms with oak floors, stunning hand placed working fieldstone fireplace, excellent views of the lake from nearly every room, & upper balcony. Biking or walking to Beulah is 1.4 miles and to Frankfort is a pleasant 8 miles. We are close to Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa, Frankfort Lighthouse & Beach, Riverside Canoe and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Come and see this and more, there is so much to enjoy. The porch over looks Round Lake. The porch can be a quiet place to escape with a book, away from the common areas. It can also provide a tranquil retreat space for smaller gatherings. It is well suited for reunions of family and friends, yoga retreats, spa weekends, long weekends with the guys or gals, as well as a base location for wedding parties. brbrThe Lodge is located seven miles from the MDNR boat launch on the south side of Crystal Lake. The sandy private beach on Crystal Lake offers a safe, secluded area perfect for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, and sailing. Beach amenities include a dock and a fire pit at the water's edge. brbrAnd while we hope for good weather during your stay, the house is equipped with a large generator that turns on automatically in the event of a power outage.brbrThe surrounding area has much to offer for outdoor recreation and site seeing. Point Betsie lighthouse is a 5 mile drive or bike ride from the Lodge. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, begins right here, in our back yard. M-22 is a lovely drive through the park to Lake Michigan beaches, the Platte River, the dune climb and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. Frankfort is a deep water port on Lake Michigan with public boat access. There are many good charter captains in the area for salmon and trout fishing on the big lake. There are seven outstanding golf courses within 20 minutes. Located 2 miles from Crystal Downs Country Club and 24 miles from Arcadia Bluffs, the Lodge is a perfect location for golf weekends. brbrFresh, locally grown products are readily available at farmer's markets & farm stands. There is also a public hiking trail that is available for guests to use and is located just down the hill from the home.brbrThere are a number of great attractions in the area! The start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is just minutes away from the home. Old Indian Trail, only 3.1 miles from the home, is a popular hiking trail in the park and runs through forests next to Lake Michigan and includes public access to Lake Michigan itself. Sleeping Bear Dunes also features a vast array of additional hiking trails, biking trails, incredible views, dune climbing, and tubing, kayaking, or canoeing down the Platte River through the park and out to Lake Michigan.brbrThe home is also very close to Crystal Lake and the cute little beach towns of Frankfort and Beulah, featuring cafes, restaurants, shops, microbreweries, golfing, and child-friendly beaches.brbrLake Michigan is just a short drive from the property and there are a number of beaches on Lake Michigan that are within a 30-minute drive from the home. One of the bedrooms that has a queen-size bed in it also has a baby crib in the bedroom.brbr​The downstairs bathroom has a tub/ shower combination, toilet, sink, and mirror. With Crystal Lake just west of the house, both the back porch and the four seasons room provide beautiful views of the sun setting on Crystal Lake.brbrThis vacation house comes equipped with high-speed wi-fi as well as a television with live streaming via Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Angel, and PureFlix. (Hulu provides the equivalent of cable television, including local network channels.)
