Originally built in 1975, this peaceful cabin sits on 2 acres in Swiss Village (across the street from Schuss Village and Shanty Creek). While you do have some neighbors, the village is quiet and peaceful during all seasons.brbrThis cozy year-round retreat is ideal for families/9 guests (beds and single sleeper sofa) people looking for a place to relax. Our Chalet is close to many of Northern Michigan's most beautiful year-round attractions, however, appeals just as much to those who plan to hunker in for a cozy cabin night. Enjoy the gas fireplace and snuggle up with a good book or your favorite streaming platform. brbrInside you’ll find a kitchen with all of the necessities and then some. There is an island with 4 stools, dining room, a stocked coffee bar, and 2 cozy living room areas. We have plenty of games, and movies to enjoy. A staircase leads to where you will find the majority of sleeping accommodations and 1 (of 2) full bathrooms. On the main floor across from the bathroom is a bedroom with a queen bed. Each bathroom has a toilet, sink, vanity, and shower/tub. The bathroom on the main floor includes a full-size washer and dryer. The Chalet is climate-controlled - heat and cooling. Our heating system is electric baseboard heat and the gas fireplace - it is a bit chilly upon arrival but crank up the heat and fireplace and it will be toasty in no time! In the summer we stay cool with portable air conditioners, both upstairs and downs.brbrThere is an outdoor fire pit with plenty of seating, complete with picnic table. The deck has a comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy and a gas grill.brbrWe provide access to (indoor and outdoor) Lakeview Hotel Pool at Shanty Creek for our guests. The cabin boasts many upgrades in the kitchen and living area. Rest assured, you will sleep well in one of our two king sized beds. For those traveling with larger parties our loft area (bedroom 3) includes a full size bed with a plush mattress for your comfort. Don’t forget to take full advantage of our wood burning fireplace during those colder seasons. The adventure does not stop within the cottage though. The pool is located between the building 3 and 4 (second driveway on the left past your building). The entrance is between units 555 and 557. Your pool access code will be written on the chalk board in the condo.brbr*Lakeview Pool: The lakeview key card will be placed on the counter and must be returned to the counter. Loss of this card will result in a $600 charge.
