Our timber frame, post and beam home has a large, covered deck and sits right on a snowmobile access trail which connects to Caribou Pond Rd. Bright living space with stunning wintertime views of Sugarloaf. The 1st floor has a Queen bedroom and open kitchen/living space. The 2nd floor has a large loft with oversized couch, TV, and private master bedroom. The basement has a pool table, ping pong, TV area, and a bedroom with two full size bunk beds (top bunk is a twin).brbrThis is our home away from home so expect shared coffee and cooking supplies in the cabinet, non-perishables in the pantry, and condiments in the fridge. The house will be stocked with PT and TP. If you finish something off, please replenish. There will be a locked closet or two where owners will keep some personal items. The garage is not available for parking vehicles or machines during your stay.brbrWe are snowmobile and ATV friendly! The trail that runs through our property to Caribou Pond Road isn't professionally groomed and maintained by a club, but locals and experienced riders use it all winter to access trail systems. The JV Wing Snowmobile Club grooms the trails from the Carrabassett Valley Transfer Station which is directly across from Caribou Pond Road.brbrWe have smart TVs in the basement and 2nd floor loft so you can access available apps. This is a full house, tons of sleeping room and bathrooms to host larger groups and families. We have it priced so even a small group can enjoy a large spacious house. SHUTTLE ROUTE: Can be the first spot to pick up which would be 10min shuttle to the base. Or last pickup which is 7 minutes to the base so real convenient! Large back yard, 8 private parking spots, large farmers porch and full kitchen. Open concept to entertain with flat screens and Sonos speakers all around! Owners use condo most weekends, so rental availability at this time is limited to Christmas week and February school break week, though other dates are likely to be intermittently added. A huge master bedroom is in the loft, overlooking the living room, with windows that open and close to allow privacy. It has a king size bed and full bath for your comfort. Second bedroom is on the main level, and has a queen size bed. A second full bathroom is on the main level, as well as a washer/dryer. We are right next to the cross-country ski trails and walking, snowshoeing and mountain biking trails.brbrYou can walk approximately 700' (2-3 minutes) to the Snubber Line ski lift or take the free Sugarloaf Explorer shuttle that conveniently stops (winter only) right at the corner of our parking lot every 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. The shuttle also stops at local restaurants, the grocery store, library, etc. so park your car and enjoy being chauffeured! brbrLocated on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, our condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. (Guests have commented on how wonderful the water pressure is from the showerheads!) The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The other main floor bedroom also has a king bed. Upstairs, there are 2 twin beds and a set of twin over twin bunk beds so a total of 8 guests can sleep soundly. Down or down alternative comforters are on every bed and lightweight, summer duvet covers replace the flannel seen in the photos during the 3 “non-winter” seasons. The kitchen table expands to comfortably seat 8 and the living room has ample seating for your entire group to gather in front of the tv and/or fireplace. Each room has its own thermostat. During the summer, there is an air conditioner in the living room (not shown in the photos).
