Lake Nottely is not your typical “close to Atlanta” lake. It is a TVA mountain lake with the majority of the shoreline owned by the US Forest Service. Some of the best fishing in the Southeast - known for Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Black Crappy.brbrWe have a fantastic hot tub with a view, right outside the porch doors for those chilly nights. A double Kayak and Paddle Board are also provided.brbrNottely Marina is closed from Oct. 31 - March. This rustic beauty could easily accommodate two families. The total interior sq footage is over 4,000 ft. with additional 1700 sf of screened porches on a 2.5 acre wooded lot with long range mountain views. On the screened patio is a pool table and dart board, along with plenty of seating and hammock. Located on a small mountain surrounded by larger mountains. Beautiful volume ceiling with wood beams give the feeling of a picturesque mountain lodge. The stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counter and a gas stove. There are three wood burning fireplaces inside and one outside for those cool mountain nights. If you are looking for a new build, this is not the rental for you. This home is rustic, charming and spacious but not new construction. 1 gig of high-speed internet allows guests to have a working vacation if desired. If Verizon is your cell carrier, you should have no issues with cellular coverage here. Laundry room in the basement is accessible to guests as needed. Located 2 miles off of Suches loop for motor sports enthusiasts approximately 9 miles from Blairsville Georgia it is in close proximity to many vacation destinations like; Blue Ridge Georgia, approx. 35min, Helen, Georgia approx. 40 min. access to Appalachian trail is 10 min. Murphy NC approx. 30 min. Vogel State park just 5. Min away. Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, Ga is less than 30 min away.
