For the kiddos, we have a high chair and a Pak 'n Play, along with toys, books and games.brbrIn the summertime we have a pontoon boat for rent* as well as pedal boats, and kayaks that come with the rental. We provide more on-site fun with a movie theater, a pool table, electronic dart board, cornhole, horseshoes, and more.brbrThe entire lower level of our home has been renovated to accommodate guests.brbrThe lake is your backyard, with a short and easy walk down to the cove.brbrWe have a private dock in a secluded cove. You can rent our 24-foot pontoon boat for $250 a day during season (May through mid-September, please check for availability as we also rent it to other area cabins). brbrEnjoy a large great room with 12-foot ceilings and a stone fireplace. The space has a theater room, pool table, dart board, dining area for 6 (with a table that expands for extra guests) and a small kitchenette. There is more seating outside on a huge covered patio, with a grill, dining table and chairs. The large backyard leads down to the cove. We have kayaks, a bonfire pit, corn hole and horseshoes.brbrIt's about 10 minutes to town, where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, and local shopping.brbrTHINGS TO NOTE:brWe are in residence upstairs, but you will have complete privacy with a separate entrance and a locked door on the stairs to the upper level. We have 4 inches of sound-suppressing foam over the door, and a gate at the top of the stairs as well. We frequently never meet or even see our guests.brbr* Please check availability for the pontoon boat.brbrThe kitchenette is a small former wet bar that has been outfitted with a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, convection burner, crock pot and griddle. There is no oven or stove, but there is a gas grill outside with a side burner for pasta, rice, or anything you would cook on a stove.brbrLake Nottely is a TVA working lake, which means there is a big draw-down in the Fall. Our cove is usually full from mid-April through September. They begin to drop the water after Labor Day.brbrWe have a washer and dryer upstairs you are welcome to use. We plan to install one downstairs eventually, hopefully by next year.brbrUnfortunately, we can't accept pets, but Nottely Oaks Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is approximately a mile down the road. They will happily board your furry friends, and release them for daytime adventures, to be returned later on. If you're interested in this option, just look them up. Lower level provides an entertainment room with classic arcade game machine with several games, foosball, mini fridge, access to lower deck, queen size sectional sleeper, flat screen TV, full bath and Master bedroom with king size bed , tv and closet. Brand new 6 seater hot tub to relax in while you listen to the babble of the creek! Each room is provided with a flat screen TV. We allow small dogs under 50 lbs. There is plenty of outdoor seating and dinning areas, with a BBQ grill provided on main level deck with easy access to kitchen and dining table. Outside there is over 400' of creek footage on the wide Arkaquah Creek. The creek is very close to the home. Paved roads all the way to home. Biker friendly!
