Lake Nottely property with private dock designed for a fun family experience!

Nancy was wonderful. My family and I were stranded in Helen due to an overbooking by VRBO. Nancy did everything she could to get us out of a hotel and into the Lake Nottely home. The home was just like the description.

This cottage was very clean and well kept also nice and warm! Nancy was very responsive when we needed something it was a very nice stay visiting our family in the area.

The house was great, well stocked, very clean, the property manager was an absolute treasure to work with. The neighbors were very nice, it was very peaceful. The water in the lake was down but we were still able to go kayaking and spend time as a family. It was absolutely fabulous

Great location, loads of fun for 4th of July. Lots of space to spread out and had everything we needed for a fun holiday!

Very comfortable. Everything we needed was there and communication with Nancy was a plus.

Great visit to north GA mountains...very responsive and caring owners and managers...accomodations and extras were very nice! Great hiking etc nearby... We were thrown off by the lake being drained, but not much the owners can do about that!:-) Overall, we would do it again!

Our stay was pefect!

From check-in to checkout, we had an easy process. The house is in a quiet cove with little to no boat traffic. The house was spacious and clean. We were at the north end of the lake which made for a short boat ride to the dam, the cliffs, and the ropeswing. The kids and teens occupied the downstairs with foosball, pool, and air hockey. The paddle boards and kayaks led to fun times in the lake as well.

My family[ my wife (48) , my mother (75) my father in law (74) , my mother in law (73) my son (18) and my daughter (13) ]- and myself (50) -7 if us in total- stay in different places every Christmas. This year we rented 10 glorious days in this great house. We loved everything second! The roads are easy to access using any type of vehicle (no need for a 4X4). The neighborhood is beautiful, very private, safe and quiet. We saw a family of deer in our front yard in the mornings. The house has 5 very comfortable bedrooms (mattresses are heavenly). The main living room have very comfortable seating so the whole family could cozy up and watch movies on the big Smart TV (must sign in to all the apps with your own account info to use Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney Plus). My mother in law, who is a chef, made delicious gourmet meals throughout our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Ingles Market is a short drive from the house, where you can get all your groceries. Our stay was during 'Elliott Winter Storm 2022' and we had to stay indoors due to the freezing temperatures for 4 days...but, we did not mind! The house has a pool table, fooze ball table, and an air hockey table. This kept us all entertained. In the evening we made hot chocolate and played board games (which the house also had available). The house was spotless, and the manager, Nancy, was excellent! She left a beautiful basket of goodies for us, which we all really enjoyed. She was very responsive and a wonderful hostess. The house was TRULY way better than the photos...We can't wait to come back! NOTE: Try Chophouse in Murphy (delicious), visit Merciers Orchard to get great treats and souvenirs. Definitely visit Helen! Happy New year everyone...enjoy your vacations!

Dear Nancy, It was wonderful and we felt like a home we would love to live in! It was the closest place i could find from my Uncles house 10 miles around other side of lake. We had a great thanksgiving long overdue. Beds were some of the best by far, enough space, beautiful location we all said the summer time would be a lot of fun. We might do this again! A great location to go exploring all around with 30 miles. Snacks the kids really enjoyed and felt special. The adults liked the gift as well. It was clean and inviting. We all loved the couches and want to buy us some now especially upstairs is amazing! Lots of fun times at air hockey and pool. Us adults said some bench/chairs just some type of seating around fire pit would be nice. The area was safe and sturdy to stand on as well so we appreciated that. It’s a gem!
