We have over 24 miles of hiking and biking trails and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, including deer, black bears, and turkeys right within our gates.brbrThe community is unlike any other – boasting seven mountains, five lakes, three championship golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and a first-class wellness center. At the swimming lake, you’ll find a beach, paddle boats, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards, and at the mountain lake, there is a marina where you can fish and rent a pontoon boat.brbrAs a renter, you’ll have access to all of the amazing amenities at Big Canoe. We can’t wait to host you!brbrThings to NotebrbrOCCUPANCY:brThis unit allows to up 8 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.brbrRESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:brWe have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.brbrPARKING:brThe driveway accommodates two-four cars (depending on size).brbrCOFFEEMAKERS:brThis home has both a Keurig and a Drip coffeemaker.brbrFIREPLACE AND FIREPIT:brThe INDOOR fireplace is gas burning. The EXTERIOR firepit is gas burning.brbr**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is not pet friendly. :-)brbrGATHERINGS:brWe know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.brbrQUIET HOURS:brQuiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.brbrSMOKING:brSmoking/vaping of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.brbrMINIMUM AGE:brGuests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.brbrCHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:brCheck-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. Guests will be given a keyless entry code prior to check-in.brbrCANCELLATIONS:brCancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees). If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest.
