Lakefront Cottage

Very cute cottage. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was prepared with towels, soaps, shampoo etc…again, everything you could possibly need. Let’s not forget to mention the absolutely stunning views from the balcony! Our trip was a winter trip so we were not able to do any swimming but my daughter took advantage of getting out on the kayak and enjoying the beautiful scenery. We would love to come back during the summer to take advantage of the lake.

What an amazing vacation!!! The lake was beautiful. The house was so comfortable. The host had every single thing that was needed. The property was so quiet and peaceful. Coffee on the deck in the morning while my husband fished, ( he caught four spotted bass). Evenings having dinner on the deck and then kayaking. Saw a pair of belted kingfisher. Hiking during the day. Comfortable beds and linens. It was really great!! Thank you so much Mrs. Connie! I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house on the lake. The area is peaceful and relaxing. It was just everything that we needed. The house is exactly as pictured. Very private.

This was our second time staying here. We love it. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay!

First the good: Nottely Lake is beautiful. During our stay the days were warm while mornings and nights were very pleasant. the home is in a beautiful setting on the lake, and the owner is very nice and tries to be accommodating. She was easy to work with. The nightly rate is also low, as low as you will find on the lake. The not so good: there really isn’t anyplace to put your stuff. The rooms are all pretty full, the closets are full, the drawers are full and the cupboards are full. Most of the horizontal surfaces also have decorations on them. If you are a minimalist traveler, you may like that, but we found it challenging. Next, we got several stings from yellow jackets. I alerted the owner when it first happened and she promised to call an exterminator. The pest control company came the following Monday, when we were not there. The owner said she was told they could not find any nests. That Friday, we got 4 more stings.

The house was great! And the paddle boards and floats were put to good use in the lake! Thank you

My recent 5 day vacation in mid-June 2025 at the lake house on lake Nottely in Blairsville GA was an absolute dream - exceeding all expectations. This charming rental provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing getaway and quality time with family.From the moment I arrived the house felt welcoming. It was cozy, clean and filled with pleasant scents, immediately putting me at ease. The thoughtful touches and fully furnished interior made it feel like a true home away from home.The location was a major highlight. Tucked away at the end of the road, the house offered privacy. The beautiful view of lake Nottely from virtually every vantage point njoying the water - swimming directly from the property or taking out jet skis for some exhilarating fun. The dock provided easy access for all water activities. We appreciated its’ convenient proximity to stores, outdoor parks and restaurants - all of which were a short drive making it easy to stock up groceries or enjoy a meal out.Honestly, the house was so comfortable and inviting that I found myself not wanting to leave. It’s the kind of place where you simply relax, enjoy the stunning surroundings, and make lasting memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this lake to anyone looking for a serene private and utterly delightful lakeside vacation. Our host was exceptional, responsive and attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Her dedication to making the vacation enjoyable enhanced the stay.

The house has two decks overlooking the lake that we enjoyed. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals. All the furniture is super comfy and cozy we especially like the seating on the sceen porch. Deavers boat ramp is 5 minutes away you can tie up at the dock at the house. The use of SUP and kayak was fun. House is at a deadend road and is less than 10 mintues from Blairsville. The house was very cozy and welcoming. There is a gas grill and a fire pit. We lovrd being at Connies home!

Parked and walked in to an amazing view of the lake. Loved the furnishings and the queen bed was so comfy. Already thinking of a return visit to owners home on the lake. It's the last home on a dead end street. Privacy was awesome

Peaceful, tranquility with a wonderful view. Host's attention to detail and all aspects of needs not just met but over expectations. Pictures simply don't cover the beauty and ambience of this place. Will definitely be back.

Connies’ house was just as advertised and we loved it! From the perfect location to the fully stocked amenities, our vacation was absolutely perfect! Connie is a great VRBO hostess!

This property was SO much more than we were hoping for! We made so many memories with two kids that are borderline impossible to keep off of their phone. We as a family have never been so active on a vacation! We kayaked and paddle boarded with the boards and kayaks provided. We swam in a lake that had nothing in it that wanted to kill us, and as a family from Florida that is a big deal! Connie was extremely accommodating! I can not say enough good things about this property! We will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed at Connie’s home for just over a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views from the home are amazing and we loved the cove the house is located on in the lake. Already missing the views from the porch. Would definitely stay here again.

Connie's lakefront cottage is the perfect getaway for active families with teens. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with beautiful lake views. We took advantage of all of the lake toys (paddle board, kayaks, and assorted floats) and also rented a jet ski from Young Harris Watersports (they delivered to Deavers boat dock). The inlet is a low wake zone so we idled out but once we got into the lake there was plenty of space to play. The lake is deep off the dock with no zero-entry access and the water was clear. We enjoyed grilling out on the upper deck but also enjoyed eating some delicious BBQ at Papaw's 10 minutes away.

House was clean comfortable and well furnished couldnt ask for a more beautiful view of lake. The decks were amazing to sit, play games, eat and relax. Enjoyed kayaking and fishing. My family had a great vacation! Connie is a great host, Hope to return in the near future.
