Then unwind for the evening enjoying the dark wilderness; taking in the stars as the greatness of the Milky Way seems to almost be within reach.brbrArea features:brRoutt county is a mecca for the country's best snowmobiling and hunting.. Horseback riding, snowmobiling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting and snowshoeing are just some of the activities right outside your door. The Elk, Yampa and Little Snake rivers are only a short drive for some fantastic fly fishing. The Zirkel National Forest is located right in your backyard for some incredible hiking and wildlife spotting. Additionally, Steamboat Lake is only a scenic 10 minute drive, and the house comes with an inflatable row boat and two canoes to use. Please bring straps to transport the vessels if you plan on taking them to the lake. We just ask that you please put everything back as it was when you found it. It is generally considered a challenging route. This is a trendy area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through September. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. In addition, there are two great lakes to explore, Steamboat Lake and Pearl Lake.
