There are doors at the top and bottom of the stairway the keep any noise from traveling. If you are not a cook, you only have to walk out your door and down the road to dine at the many wonderful restaurants in Truckee, and you won't have to worry about a long ride home, in fact, you could even walk home! If you like to take walks there is a wonderful trail called The Legacy Trail which begins just one block down the road, at the entrance to the community park. You can walk along the river for miles, or even ride your bikes. Bikes can also be rented for a small fee with your credit card near the train station during the summer months. There is also a bike rental shop just next door to our residences that even offer electric bikes.
