This one bedroom, one bath Ski Trail condo lets you literally bike JUST A FEW FEET FROM YOUR FRONT DOOR . The front window is right on the trail. Park the car, forget about the shuttle, and stop carrying your equipment hundreds of yards. We have two boot dryers/heaters for your use. (And the secure locker just outside the front door lets you leave your gear outside the unit.)

The living room features a large leather sectional sofa, real wood-burning fireplace with gas starter, and a55-inch wall-mounted HD flat panel TV with HD programming and a DVD/DVR. We also provide high speed internet access via a high speed cable connection and Wi-Fi.

The kitchen includes a large refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. You can eat at the pass-through bar between the kitchen and living room, or use the table, which can accommodate four.

In addition to the queen-size bed in the bedroom, the living room sofa easily converts to a queen-size sleeper. Two foam sleeping pads are also available for floor use, and are great for kids. We have added a queen size air bed. Very comfortable.

Your stay will also give you access to (and gated, private parking at) the recreation center ($10.00 per person per day), which has a complete workout gym, an outdoor heated lap pool open year-round, and three large hot tub spas available only to Ski Trail owners and guests.

In spring conditions this wasn't really a ski-in-ski-out stay. The snow did not reach the condo. The space was quite cramped and worn. The mattress on the pull out couch would only be suitable for a child as it was very worn and sagging. It was also quite dirty. The rec center, a short drive away, had no facilities available other than a workout room and arcade, i.e. no hot tub or pool. Would have been fine for non picky family in excellent ski conditions.

This condo is really convenient for skiing. There are boot warmers right at the front door. The kids can come back to have a short rest when they need to. The property manager replied to my messages promptly. We give this vacation a 10/10 score.

Property is located near the Vista Express Lift and Main Gondola. A Ski Condo Run is located directly behind the property and you can walk to the run and head to the main gondola. Other amenities such as boot dryer, easy parking access, excellent heater, comfy couch, and cozy bedroom, made this property excellent for a short stint at Northstar!

It was OK. The visit had a mix of pros and cons. Firstly, it's worth noting that the property is quite outdated, which might charm some guests but might not be everyone's cup of tea. A major issue was the bathtub faucet, which was already broken. The handle came off right in my hand, making it difficult to use. This is something that definitely needs attention. On the plus side, the property is affordable, and it's kept clean, with fresh linens provided. It's also a quiet place, which was welcomed. However, the furniture in the property is showing signs of wear and tear, and the rugs look like they've seen better days, with visible stains. There are a few burntout light bulbs. The master closet is full of odds and ends for the upkeep of the place, The fireplace was a cool feature however I did not use it. In summary, this property is a cost-effective and peaceful option. Just be prepared for some dated decor and a few maintenance concerns.

The property was convenient for getting on and off the slopes. The property was outdated, dirty and had a broken plumping fixture that even had a note above it drirecting you how to work the shower faucet. If the plumbing was updated and not broken then the note wouldn't have been necessarily. Activities center enjoyed by the homeowners should be included for guest who are renting. Was charged 10 dollars just to sit in a hot tube. Will not rent from same facility.

The place is overall reasonable. Probably great in the winter, but not ideal in the middle of the summer. No AC or fans so it's entirely too hot to be comfortable in July. The shower head sprays water all over the bathroom and the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work. Otherwise a fairly nice place in a great location.

This condo is really cozy and I would stay again. FYI it's one of the farthest condos to the village (if you're walking), but right on Ski Condos trail (off Village Run) if there's enough snow.

Ski in/Ski out was really great! There was a dirty blanket in the open sofa in the leaving room. Prices to the recreation area were higher than what was communicated. There were not enough sheets and blankets for 5 people as we booked

All new appliances in the kitchen! Excellent location -- right off of the condo-run a little way up from the Village Express lift. The owner was helpful and clearly cares about his guest's satisfaction with the accommodations. Great stay -- we hope to stay again next year!

We have stayed in multiple VRBOs at Northstar, even one that was very near this one as another ski in ski out place. This one is our preferred location to stay in Northstar now. Kitchen setup was great, including coffee maker with filters, multiple pots and pans and bowls to cook with, and a great fireplace to use. The locker for the skis was so useful and my kids loved the boot heaters. Kids had fun sleeping on the pull out couch, my wife and I slept on the comfortable bed. We didn't get around to playing the N64 that was there but I was wishing we had. The ski in/out feature was the best. Kids could take breaks when they wanted while we could keep skiing. And we loved being able to use our saucers on the condo ski run after 5pm. Got going super fast down that run!

Condo is in the nice area of Northstar Resort. Good condo for 2 people. More than that would be crowded. Interior and furniture need updating. The previous update to the appears to be 25 or more years ago. It appeared that the condo was not used in a while as it smelled musty stale when we arrived. Upon entering the bedroom a huge spider was on the bed and many more were seen throughout the condo. Northstar Resort is close to Truckee, which is the reason we stayed there. Price is quite reasonable. We stayed in the same complex in 2024 and the unit was much nicer.

Really loved our stay. Was originally going with my son for spring break. At the last minute, one of his friends and friends' dad came along as well. Was worried if the place was big enough but no issues at all. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time. Real ski in/out makes such a big difference. Would definitely stay here again.

The listing indicated that this condo could sleep 5. When we arrived, we only found sheets for one bed. The owner took a long time to respond to our concern and when he did he promised that sheets would be delivered. The sheets never showed up our entire stay. We ended up leaving a night early since my kids were so uncomfortable. I’m now working with VRBO for a refund of our last night, but again the owner isn’t responding. If you do book this place, bring your own sheets and towels. We also had communication issues with the owner to get access to the property. It took several texts and phone calls before he gave us the code to the door.
