You are less than a mile from Heavenly Mountain Resort’s California Base Lodge at this home. In the winter, you can hit the slopes from this lodge and access all the trails that Heavenly offers. In the summer, take advantage of all the hiking and mountain biking trails in the forest surrounding this home. The Pine Tree Chalet is only a 6-minute drive to the Stateline, where you can enjoy our local casinos, shops, and restaurants. The Heavenly Mountain Resort’s gondola also is located at the Stateline. Lake Tahoe is also just a short 5-minute drive away.brbrThis luxury home features 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, over 2,500 square feet, and can sleep up to 8 people. The home is three levels, on a quiet street in a hillside forest. When you enter the home, you will find yourself on the middle level (second floor), where the main living areas are located. Relax in the living room on one of the couches, enjoy the gas fireplace, or watch a movie on the flat-screen television. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area, with seating for eight people. There is additional seating for 3 more at the kitchen breakfast bar. The kitchen is all remodeled with stainless steel appliances. The peninsula overlooks the dining area and the outdoor porch. There is access to the deck from the sliding glass door in the living room or by the dining table. This deck features a propane BBQ and table and chairs. From the deck, you can enjoy filtered views of Lake Tahoe.brbrThe three bedrooms are located on the top floor (third level). There is plenty of room for the family to gather together. There is a deck with gas bbq immediately off the kitchen. The dining room table seats 6 and there are 4 stools at the breakfast bar. The kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances and plenty of room for several chefs. This home is a very strict non-smoking property, which includes the outside. Evidence of smoking including a smoke smell or cigarette butts on the ground will result in a $250 charge. If someone in your party smokes, please have them do so off the property lines and dispose of their butts appropriately. brbrDAMAGE. We have a ‘you break, you buy’ policy when it comes to damage. We will do a detailed inspection after you check-out to check for new damage. If you notice damage from a previous guest or if damage occurs during your stay, please report it to us right away. Attempting to conceal or failing to report damage, will automatically result in being charged for the replacement or repair. brbrHIGH FIRE DANGER. Tahoe is under high fire danger year round. The following actions are strictly forbidden: bonfires, outdoor fires, firepits, charcoal BBQs, fireworks, using the gas BBQ or gas firepit on a red flag day, etc. brbrUNFORESEEN HOME ISSUES. When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We do a detailed inspection before your arrival to ensure it’s clean and all amenities are functioning but despite our best efforts, sometimes things still happen. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them. brbrFRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate. brbrCANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. If the home gets rebooked, we will refund you minus a 3% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing.brbrSECURITY CAMERAS. Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside. This is to ensure our guests abide by the strict local ordinance. There are never any cameras inside our home.brbrREFUNDS. Reporting issues to us after you leave does not often result in a refund. We prefer to handle issues while you are here in order to make your stay with us exceptional so please report all issues to us during your stay. We are much more likely to offer a refund on our own terms for failure to resolve issues rather than be asked for money back after you’ve checked out. brbrSNOW REMOVAL. Summit Tahoe cannot guarantee snow removal services to the roads and driveway will be completed by the county and/or snow removal vendors. Delays during heavy snowfall are to be expected. Snow shovels are provided onsite. Guests are required to carry chains with them to Tahoe per local law. brbrICY WALKWAYS. Our walkways in Tahoe are icy so make sure all members of your party have snow boots and walk with care. We do our best to clear snow and add ice melt but despite best efforts our walkways still become icy. We are not liable for any falls or slips on the ice.brbrPETS. This home is pet friendly. There cannot be ANY noise after 10pm. br → Noise - This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood therefore excessive noise is not well tolerated at any time of the day. br → Parking - We can only have the number of cars on the property that we are permitted for. Street parking, parking in the front yard or on the dirt is not allowed at rentals. Vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.br → Trash - Trash can never be left outside. This home is a very strict non-smoking property, which includes the outside. Evidence of smoking including a smoke smell or cigarette butts on the ground will result in a $250 charge. If someone in your party smokes, please have them do so off the property lines and dispose of their butts appropriately. brbrDAMAGE. We have a ‘you break, you buy’ policy when it comes to damage. We will do a detailed inspection after you check-out to check for new damage. If you notice damage from a previous guest or if damage occurs during your stay, please report it to us right away. Attempting to conceal or failing to report damage, will automatically result in being charged for the replacement or repair. brbrHIGH FIRE DANGER. Tahoe is under high fire danger year round. The following actions are strictly forbidden: bonfires, outdoor fires, firepits, charcoal BBQs, fireworks, using the gas BBQ or gas firepit on a red flag day, etc. brbrUNFORESEEN HOME ISSUES. When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We do a detailed inspection before your arrival to ensure it’s clean and all amenities are functioning but despite our best efforts, sometimes things still happen. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them. brbrFRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate. brbrCANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar.
