When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them. brbrFRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate. brbrCANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. If the home gets rebooked, we will refund you minus a 3% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing.brbrSECURITY CAMERAS. Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside. This is to ensure our guests abide by the strict local ordinance. There are never any cameras inside our home.brbrREFUNDS. Reporting issues to us after you leave does not often result in a refund. We prefer to handle issues while you are here in order to make your stay with us exceptional so please report all issues to us during your stay. We are much more likely to offer a refund on our own terms for failure to resolve issues rather than be asked for money back after you’ve checked out. brbrSNOW REMOVAL. Summit Tahoe cannot guarantee snow removal services to the roads and driveway will be completed by the county and/or snow removal vendors. Delays during heavy snowfall are to be expected. Snow shovels are provided onsite. Guests are required to carry chains with them to Tahoe per local law. brbrICY WALKWAYS. Our walkways in Tahoe are icy so make sure all members of your party have snow boots and walk with care. We do our best to clear snow and add ice melt but despite best efforts our walkways still become icy. We are not liable for any falls or slips on the ice.brbrPETS. This home is pet friendly. Small kiddos do not count in the occupancy. What is unique about this home is the HUGE LOT, filled with granite boulders for climbing, a hot tub, string lights and much more! It’s very private, cozy and cool. brbrDISCLAIMERbrDuring the Winter of 2022/2023, the garage sustained some damage and had to be removed so no garage parking available. There is plenty of parking on the driveway for up to 4 cars. The owners are working on rebuilding a new one so there might be some light construction material onsite. Please be careful where you walk in the front yard specifically to the right of the house where the old garage used to be.
