At one end of the beach is the pier and Newport Ave, a street lined with antiques shops, beachwear and surf boutiques, organic groceries, taquerias and brewpubs. At the other end of the beach is dog beach. This is also where The San Diego River Trail begins and gives spectacular views of Mission Bay and access to quite a lot of San Diego without a car. Robb Fields Park lies between the trail and the property.brbrThe noises you will hear standing outside range from silence to Robb Field Park’s cheering and games, Sea World's seasonal nightly fireworks, planes flying overhead from San Diego International Airport, local musicians playing next door, and the slow beach traffic on West Point Loma Boulevard.
