The bus stop for the Blue Line shuttle and year-round Night Trolley is very close by which can take you to the slopes or town. The shuttle and Village Gondola run from mid-December to mid-April when Canyon Lodge is open. In summer, the Lakes area for water sports, biking and hiking are only minutes driving as is the Sierra Star golf course and downtown Mammoth.
