The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation. brbr(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave. br br(5) Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or around the house is subject to a $25 per bag for removal. Please make sure all trash is bagged and tightly secured inside the bins and the lids are shut tight. Any trash left inside the home will be subject to a fee.br br(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open. br br(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged. brbr(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. We have a sweet 70 pound baby ourselves so we understand how hard it is to find a Big Bear house that would allow bigger dogs. We do charge a $25 pet fee as it takes longer to clean the house after our furry friends and wash all doggie blankets.brWe are just asking you to help us protect the house from any accidents. Please use provided blankets on the furniture to keep it safe from the hair and dirt, pick up after your dog in the backyard, don’t allow excessive barking outside disturbing the neighbors (we have a lot of squirrels) or digging.brbr2. Do you provide propane for the fire pit and the grill brbrYes! Based on our experience, it gets annoying to look for propane when you just drove for 2 hours up the mountain. We will have extra propane tanks in the garage at all times. Please be respectful to our expense and turn off the gas when you don’t use it. Some guests leave the fire pits and heaters all night, leaving nothing for the next visitors.brbr3. Do you provide coffee, tea, paper towels brbrYes! Are we allowed to stay in the hot tub after 10 pm brbrThe city noise regulation refers mostly to the noise level after 10 pm so as long as you don’t have music and are not loud, please enjoy the hot tub and watch the stars all night! Unfortunately if you do have a late party, the neighbors will notify us and the police, there are fines and stay terminations in place. Just be very respectful and understanding to our neighbors who actually need to go to work early morning, this way you can stay outside all night with no issues.brbr6. Do you have a wood fire pit outside brbrNo. We are not allowed to use any kind of wood outside due to fire dangers, everything is propane based. We are considering getting it it is a popular request.brbrbr8. What is the parking situation brbrWe have a wide flat driveway in front of the house so you can comfortably park 3 large vehicles. The garage is pretty tight with toys, so we are not using it for parking at the moment.brbr9. Do you have good Wi-Fi brbrYes! Our jobs are Wi-Fi dependent so we made sure to have fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable desk/chair.brbr10. Are we allowed to use bikes and toys brbrYes! Everything you find in the garage is available for your use ( bikes, scooters, toys, strollers, a playpen).brbr11. How long does it take to heat up the hot tub brbrIn winter, we keep the hot tub at 98 degrees so that it would take less than an hour to get to full 104 degrees. Please make sure to keep the belts and the cover on while heating it up, otherwise it will take much longer. Please lock the belts and change the temperature back to 98 when done.brbr12. How far are you from the restaurants and shops brbrOur house is located in Big Bear City, not in the Big Bear Lake city, so we are outside of the tourist zone. It takes about 10 minutes to get to main grocery stores like Vons and Stater Bros, Starbucks, DIY, tubes, Zoo and ski slopes, a very easy straight drive on our main road - Big Bear Blvd.brIt takes 15 minutes to get to the main marina and the village with shops and restaurants.brIt also takes 10-15 minutes to reach main fishing spots on the other side of the lake, many popular hikes, and even donkeys.brbr13. Is it safe to go for walks or bike rides in your neighborhood brbrDefinitely safe and pleasant! Our blocks are lined up with gorgeous pine trees and beautiful homes. The flat quiet roads inspire take walks and bike rides to parks, hiking trails, we also have a cute park nearby. You can take your bike to the lake as well.brbr14. Do you have a view brbrOur house is only one floor so unfortunately not much of the view. You can enjoy some Mountain View but the trees are blocking most of it. At the same time, you will be able to see many squirrels and beautiful birds living in those trees.brbr15. It can easily accommodate multiple families or groups as there are FIVE bedrooms with 9 beds and 3 bathrooms. These are REAL BEDS with 2 Kings, 5 Queens and 2 Twins beds. The bedrooms are all on the first floor and the entertainment space and kitchen are on the second floor. With its reverse floor plan and as one of our guests commented in their review, it's a nice separation of socialization and entertainment area verses a quiet area for sleep. brbrThis house is an entertainer's dream with a game room that will ensure everyone has a good time. Some of the fun provisions include a 9 foot professional size pool table, a foosball table, air hockey and ping pong games, a Williams Big Deal Pinball Machine, a Pop-A-Shot Pro Dual Shot basketball game and an Golden Tee Go (2022 model) . We have a Bally Multicade stand up arcade game with 60 classic 1980's games. The games include Pac Man, Centipede, Millipede, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Frogger and Dig Dug. The game room has two large TVs, a SONOS sound bar for music, music videos, karaoke system, a wall mounted TV with DirecTV and more.brbrMost places in Big Bear have a checkout time of 10am and allow the next guests to check-in at 3pm the same day. We do the opposite, still letting you check-in at 3pm but the checkout is at 5pm. That means our weekend guests have pretty much the whole day on Sunday to relax at the house, have a nice breakfast, enjoy the mountains or even hit the slopes one last time. That also allows us to have at least 22 hours between guests to make sure the house has been cleaned, supplies restocked, games operational, propane tanks refilled, hot tub serviced and whatever else we need to do to make sure everything is ready for you. Please consider that when deciding what home works best for you and what you are looking for.brbrOur place is an easy drive from North Shore Drive in Big Bear City (not the City of Big Bear Lake). We have off-street parking on concrete for up to 6 cars, plenty of free firewood and Big Bear City trash pickup with two 96-gallon cans (yes, there is trash pickup in some parts of Big Bear!). The open floor plan and layout is great for groups of people as the large kitchen and family room floor connect to the game room along with decks at the front and back. With 1,400 sq ft of indoor space upstairs and over 800 sq. ft. of outside decks, this makes for 2,200 sq. ft. of connected indoor and outdoor entertainment space on the second floor. The five bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor add another 1,300 sq. ft. so there is plenty of room.brbrThere are five bedrooms, all downstairs and a total of 9 beds. The fireplace is actually a cast iron fireplace insert and can be set up to heat the house up or used with a screen to enjoy a crackling fire. The TV has DirecTV with an HD DVR and a Sony sound system. The smart TV can be used with YouTube or your NetFlix, Hulu Plus, Home Media Servers or other accounts. Of course we have free high speed Spectrum Internet up to 100 Mbps download. There are two brown leather couches in the family room and a large leather comfy chair with an ottoman. There is a two-seat black leather sofa with recliners.brbrThe game room is the centerpiece of fun in the house. It's separated from the family room by a barn door, which we usually keep open. In the center of the room is a 9 foot professional size pool table that weighs over 1,000 lbs. The light above it is made from two snowboaords with LED lights in between. There is a Pop-A-Shot Pro Dual Shot basketball game and a Williams Big Deal pinball machine. It is an older machine but had always been in private residences and not in an arcade. Up to 4 players can play at once, each getting 3 balls per game. It has a coin slot but like all of our arcade games it is set up for free play.brbrAs mentioned above, we have a Golden Tee video golf game just like you see in many bars and arcades. Our Bally Multicade game has been a big hit. Each game has high scores so those of us who grew up in the 80's playing these games have an advantage and a duty to beat the high score of the youngsters. brbrThe kitchen has dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, martini, wine and shot glasses. There are a large variety of pots and pans, frying pans, pancake griddle, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, bake ware, hot pads, can opener, corkscrew, cooking and steak knives. There is a toaster, bender, mixer, food processor, Belgian Waffle maker, a crock pot, a rice maker, digital probe cooking thermometer, Keurig 2.0 coffee maker, K-Cup holder/dispenser that we keep full with a variety of pods, a regular coffee pot and filters. We have plenty of dishes, plates and two drawers full of tableware to accommodate large groups. A spice rack and a full spice cabinet contain both common and unique spices for your cooking needs.brbrAdjacent to the cooking area is a 10-seat counter height table and padded chairs. Ceiling fans with lights above the kitchen table and over the couch are nice for air circulation and extra light, especially during the summer.brbrThere are three outside decks, two upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs back deck is the largest one at 656 sq. ft. It has our Hot Springs Limelight Flash 7-person hot tub. The amazing jets, lights, controls, you name it... we really like it and I am sure you will too. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out. br br(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly. br br(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.br br(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation. brbr(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave. br br(5) Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or around the house is subject to a $25 per bag for removal. Please make sure all trash is bagged and tightly secured inside the bins and the lids are shut tight. Any trash left inside the home will be subject to a fee.br br(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open. br br(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees.brbrbr(8) Hot Tub – No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund. brbr(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.br br(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines. br br(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home. br br(12) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.brbr(13) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.brbr(14) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.brbr brPlease keep in mind you must be 25 years old to book.
