Please note that there are steep slopes around the home and the loft railings are spaced too far apart to be baby safe.brbrOur remodeled A-frame is the perfect getaway. With large windows opening to the beautiful pines surrounding the property and cozy clean rooms, you can relax and unwind in style.brbrThe entire home is yours with the exception of a locked supply closet.brbrWe’re happy to help you find your way around town but we will also not be around the premises. We’re always available in app!brbrQuiet and walkable neighborhood close to trails. We’re a short drive of 10 minutes from downtown Prescott.brbrWe can hold about 3-4 cars. Only 2 covered spaces and no garage.brbrNot reccomended for children under 5. Not baby proofed by any means. You take all responsibility for children under 5.br1. Seventh Guest will be on a pullout mattress on the floor. We also have a pack and play available but we do not reccomend bringing children under 4.br2. Please no smoking or outdoor fires of any kind.br3. No parties or events.br4. No pets, if evidence of pets is found we will impose a $500 fee.br5. Stairs are not suitable for toddlers or young children, home is not baby proofed by any means. Winter in Prescott varies, we sometimes have lots of snow other times no snow. We will try to get someone out after a snowfall to shovel/plow as soon as we can however there are times it may be delayed. The county is responsible for plowing our area not the city, and there are often delays. We will try to communicate with you and help as much as we can. If you see snow is expected we highly reccomend driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle if possible, also bring some extra food in case you get stuck for a bit.

Ponderosa Park Homestead was established in 1888. It is a close knit community with great roads, tall whispering pines nestled amongst green mossy boulders. It is only 6-7 miles from Whiskey Row, downtown Prescott, yet you feel like you're in Tahoe! Folks have a misconception of AZ or Prescott. They think we are HOT, flat and sandy. We are at 5400 ft elevation. Four seasons. Snow at times in the winter. Monsoons in the summer! Colorful fall season. Our summer nights get cool, with summer highs mild compare to Phoenix. Our cabin is small and quaint with a wood burning stove. brbrWildlife is abundant. Make your stay a memorable one, quiet with a good book or take a day trip to the South Rim at the Grand Canyon. We recommend the El Tovar restaurant for a meal and views of the Canyon.brbrOur favorite pizza is Bill's. On Cortez and Gurley. Off the beaten path is Nick's feed your face sandwiches. One bedroom contains a queen sized bed, and the other room has two very comfortable twin beds.brbrThe Master Suite is located downstairs. You must walk outside from the main floor to enter this room. It contains a soft, king size, tempurpedic bed. brThe couch in the Master Suite is a pullout bed with a full sized mattress. This room is perfect for a couple with a young child-allowing the child to sleep in the room with them, but not in the bed with them! brbrThe Bathrooms:brThere is one full bath located on the main level with both a shower and a bathtub.brThe Master Suite has its own full bathroom with a shower (no tub).brbrYou have to go upstairs to access the main level of the home. There is a keyless entry for the main level, but the downstairs Master Suite does require a key, which is provided in the Welcome area inside the home. brbrThere is both covered and open parking spots, which will comfortably fit three vehicles.brbrCheck-in time is at 4pm, but we will message you as soon as the home is ready just in case you’re already in town :)brbrWe wish to give you privacy, however we live locally and are available if you need anything :)brbrThis cabin is located in a quiet and peaceful cabin neighborhood.brbr* The main level of the home is equipped with AC and Heating, with each bedroom and kitchen have its own separate system. The bottom master suite does not have central heating, however a portable heater is provided and heats the room extremely well.br*Extra Portable heaters are also provided for each room, which work very well for those chilly nights. brbrPet Fee: We do charge a small pet fee of $10 for your entire stay. You WILL NEED FOUR wheel drive and possibly chains during the winter months in case of snow and ice. This cabin is cozy, unique and its setting is beautiful. There are 2 master suites with ensuite baths and 2 additional bedrooms. The bunkroom sleeps 6 on bunk beds with lower futon mattresses that are great for kids or a family who has multiple young children that want to sleep in the same room. There is also an additional bedroom with a queen bed. The large living areas include large couches and lots of floor space for additional sleeping. The property is on 4 secluded acres. This is a fantastic place to be enjoyed for family getaways, reunions or corporate functions. This cabin is in the forest and is not ideal for those looking for a 5 star resort, paved roads or concierge service.
