Stayed Aug 2, 2025Five of my close friends and I stayed here for 8 nights for our annual get away from the everyday trip. The cabin had plenty of room and the location worked out perfectly for a mix of seclusion/relaxation and some Northern Arizona day trips.Drive from the PHX airport & check-in was easy, and the road was no issue during our daytime arrival in good weather. The steep last couple hundred feet of road might be tough in heavy rain. The cabin road is very tame by comparison to the forest road to Palace Station. We were able to make that trip in a near stock 4x4 '01 suburban. We cooked several group meals using the indoor stove, outdoor grill, and air fryer. Just struggled a little with converting the coffeemaker from K-cups to ground coffee our first morning (we usually go thru a few pounds of coffee in a week). The cabins' showers, bathrooms, and linens were all luxurious.During our visit we hiked up to Mt. Union which offers spectacular southern views of the forest. You can get to the trailhead by walking on foot not too far from the property. We also took a day trip to Williams to catch the Grand Canyon Railway (recommend) up to the Grand Canyon and then a few breweries in Williams on the way back. Another day trip was out to Meteor Crater from which we hit Walnut Canyon, then some Flagstaff breweries on our way back. Prescott is, of course, much closer where we spent a couple days going to the Superstition Meadery (hidden gem) and some other local watering holes.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Our stay was great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Beautiful house and big driveway. We were able to get 5 cars on it. It was perfect for our group. Olga was very helpful whenever we texted. They also had board games, card games, and enough seating areas outside for all 7 of us. Pretty close to Lynx Lake, too.
