We have another cozy queen bed in the living room. 1 futon that converts to a full-size bed in the lower-level rock n’ roll room. There’s a children’s-size pull out couch bed in the kid’s play room. Going the other direction you’ll find the Olympic Hot Springs and be close to Hurricane Ridge entrance . Cape flattery or the Hoh rainforest are not to be missed if you’re headed towards Sekui or Forks area.br br* There is a great little store only 8 min from our cabins , Joyce General, that closes at 7pm. We are only 25 min from Port Angeles so if you’re looking for more options be sure to hit Safeway or Walmart off 101 before heading in for the night. brbr* Blackberry Cafe is a nice option for a meal out that is only 5-8 min from us. Family Kitchen and the One Twelve are two others near our place. In Port Angeles you have everything from amazing burgers at the Next Door Gastropub, tasty BBQ at Coyote Grill, yummy seafood and steak at Kokopelli Grill, Pho that’s the best at New Saigon. For quick and easy on the pocketbook, Fast Burrito with fresh tasty Mexican food . Also Sabi Thai has stellar Thai food. New Day Eatery has breakfast and lunch only, and is very good! Welcome to Harvel Country Estate! Nestled in prime location between Sequim and Port Angeles; close to the National Park, the Dungeness Sand Spit, Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, endless hikes, wineries, and beaches. brbrWe have the country setting that most people dream about in their lifetime; this property boasts a large family home to enjoy family and friends all year long. brbrOur home only has a few steps into the main floor for those that are limited to stairs. The main floor consists of a living room/gathering room with a flat screen tv, large kitchen, huge dining area that can seat 12+ people, a second dining area for 8, a master bedroom/bath, additional bathroom, and a mudroom (complete with washer and dryer and a backup refrigerator, for extra food/drink storage for crowds.) The main floor also boasts a large viewing deck of sloping pasture, wildlife, and incredible sunsets. From the deck, there is access to the hot tub. brbrUpstairs, you will find 3 good size bedrooms with beds facing out to enjoy the country setting; there is a large full bathroom upstairs. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third upstairs bedroom has a queen bed.brbrLower level, has additional bedroom with a king size bed, a children's Toy Story themed bunk area, playroom with queen sized bed, and two sleeper ottomans for extra guests. There is a sliding glass door to a fenced back yard, YES a fenced back yard, for those of us that bring our dog(s) on vacation and search hard for fenced yards!brbrThe garage area has an additional bedroom furnished with two double bunk beds (bottom bunks are comprised of full sized mattresses with a twin on top.) This Americana themed room sleeps 4-6 and is adjoined to a garage-game room equipped with a state of the art air hockey table, and a ping pong table. brbrThere is a short walking path from the estate to our part of an incredible pond; we have chairs and a hammock to sit and enjoy this very serene spot; bring your morning coffee, you won't want to leave. brbrAt the end of the day, sit in our adirondack chairs around the fire pit , and reflect upon your adventures in our neck of the woods. brWe decorate this home for Christmas . This is very important to us and our surrounding neighbors. There are children, pets and others who are always out and about that you need to keep your eyes out for. Please respect this speed limit.brbr- Maximum number of guests not to exceed 6.brbr- No pets without prior written approval and payment of pet fee.brbr- Only use fireplace, fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fireplace, fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the woodstove – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs, and this goes for the fire pit as well.brbr- Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.brbr- This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.brbr- Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in the hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.brbr- We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in the house.brbr- Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.brbr- Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.brbr- Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.brbr-No smoking of anything allowed indoors, smoke it outside please.brbr- We are honored you decided to choose 4 Seasons River Retreat, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.brbr- Please stay out of the attic, crawlspace, shop and storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.brbr- PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.brbr- Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to 4 Seasons River Retreat or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.brbr- Hot Tub: Please enjoy the hot tub but use it in a respectful way. No horse playing which includes but is not limited to; whirlpooling, MAX 6 people in the tub at one time, do not sit on the edges, no food, no glass in or around the tub, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or someone over the age of 18. No one wants to bath with you so please shower prior to use. Use is at your own risk, please exercise caution when entering, exiting, & using the tub.brbr- Check-out: - Want to stay an extra hour or so Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance. Guests will be charged an extra $25 for unapproved late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise approved with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.brbr- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. It is appropriately named, as the eagles have built a nest overhead in the towering tree that grows in the yard.brbrIt accommodates four having one queen bed, and one snug double bed, plus two bathrooms with tubs. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and of course has a washer and dryer.brbrOn the cooler days the cozy wood stove adds to the ambiance and comfort while enjoying the magnificent surroundings from the many large windows. On the warm summer evenings, the wrap around deck is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the sunsets and lights of Port Angeles. The parade of ships going past makes for an ever changing and interesting view with Victoria, B.C. as the back drop.brbrWalk out with your morning coffee to the private lookout bench to take in the smell of the fresh salt air and watch the tide come in. You'll hear the seagulls in front of you, the songbirds behind you and you will relax to the sound of the waves rearranging the rocks on the beach down below.brbrYou will share our private beach trail with our other guests at Hunters' Gate Homes. It is a gated, five minute hike with some large steps which are not easily navigated by small children or inexperienced hikers. Once down to the bottom you will be rewarded with a beautiful beach where the fresh creek water forms a lagoon that spills out into the salt water Strait of Juan de Fuca. You can walk and beach comb to the Dungeness Spit or head in a westerly direction toward Port Angeles.brbrThe quaint little neighborhood store, Agnew Grocery & Feed, is only a five minute drive away, offering fresh local produce and a large selection of wine and other refreshments besides the basic grocery items. Sunny Farms Country Store is only ten minutes away where you'll find a larger variety of items including a deli and a fresh fish and meat market.brbrThere are four restaurants all within a ten minute drive which are all highly recommended. The quality front loading laundry set is there for your convenience and the bathroom offers a bathtub and shower combination. This cozy fantastic, beach-level property on the south shore enjoys maximum morning sun and wonderful light throughout the day. The main house has 2 bedrooms on main floor (1 king and 1 Queen) and a loft with a queen bed and sitting area. 1 full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a deck with a propane grill and seating. The house is cozy if you are booking 8 people. We do it all the time but keep this in mind. The dock (4 ft. ish) is shallow and has a small beach.br br****For guests booking over 6 people there is a separate small guest suite with 1 (queen) bedroom and 1/2 bath included. ****br brThis well appointed lake house has a deck for BBQing, private dock, and great spot for swimming. Close to Olympic National Park for hiking and exploring.brbrClosest large grocery store is in Port Angeles or there is a lovely fresh market west of Sequim called Sunny Farms that we do our shopping at. There are larger grocery stores in Port Angeles and a Costco in Sequim.brbrYou are in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula and depending on your cell phone service carrier, your signal may not be the strongest. WiFi is provided in the house but with limited data there is no streaming movies please.brbrWe do have neighbors on each side so if you need more privacy this is not your spot. Although we are family friendly we do not have child saftey proofed items. brbr**Check in time is 4PM and check out is 11AM**

The three-bedroom cottage is complete with a kitchen, gas grill, free Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, W/D, outdoor fire pit and beautiful shared private trails that lead down to and alongside Indian Creek. Only 15 minutes from Port Angeles's downtown shopping, restaurants and coffee houses. Experience easy day trips and hiking adventures through the Olympic National Park. Kayaking, boating and swimming at Lake Crescent are just 10 minutes west of the cabin.brbrInside the cottage:brThe downstairs living space offers two informal seating areas with cozy furnishings. One with a Smart TV, a real flame electric fireplace, a couch with chaise (turns into a sofa bed for extra sleeping arrangements) and a lovely selection of books. There is also a small writing desk in the corner for those that need to work during their stay or just check an email or two. The other seating area is a lovely conversation spot or space to curl up and read by the gas stove, located just off the kitchen and dining areas. The dining table sits between the two living areas and is perfect for gathering for dinner or for playing a lively card game. brIn the kitchen, you will find all you need for whipping up meals including a four-burner stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of dishes/pots and pans. There is one bedroom on the main floor that has a queen bed and TV. Both bathrooms are also on the main floor. The back bath has a walk-in shower and washer/dryer, while the hall bath is split between a shower room and 1/2 bath. brThe upstairs second and third bedrooms are accessed by a steep and narrow staircase. The second bedroom has a full-size bed and TV and the third bedroom has plenty of room for the kids to stretch out, with 3 full size beds and TV. Outside, everyone can have fun exploring the shared outdoor areas that include private trails down to and alongside the creek, the community gazebo and the backyard seating areas and fire pit (Burn Ban in effect July 1 to Oct 1) These outdoor areas are shared with guests who may be occupying the other vacation rental on the property along with the homeowner who lives in the main house.brbrGetting Around:brThis property is located set back off U.S. Highway 101 just 9 miles west of Port Angeles for restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, and shopping. The closest entrance to the Olympic National Park is at Lake Crescent, just 10 minutes west of this property, where you will find kayaking on the Lake and hiking opportunities on the Spruce Railroad trail, Mt. Storm King trail and Marymere Falls trail, as well as a wonderful restaurant at the historic Lake Crescent Lodge. Additional day trips to other Olympic National Park destinations are an easy drive from the home. Both Hurricane Ridge and Sol Duc Hot Springs/Falls are a 45 minute drive from the home, the Hoh Rain Forest is 1.75 hours away and the Pacific coastal beaches are just over an hour drive to the west. The town of Sequim, with more restaurants, shopping, coffee houses and Lavender Farms is just a 35 minute drive to the east.brbrAdditional things to note:brThis property has two vacation rental units on it and a main house (Homeowner). The driveway leading to all three units is circular, with two designated parking spots for the Indian Creek Cottage in front of the cottage. The cottage is indicated by a green sign with the name Indian Creek to the right of the front door. All outdoor spaces including yards, private trails to the creek, gazebo and seating areas are shared spaces with other guests who may be staying.brWhile children are welcome, we do require that an adult accompanies all children under the age of 12 when anywhere outside on the property, specifically when around the naturally occurring hazards of the creek, private trails, and outdoor fire pits. Children under 12 are not to be left unaccompanied outside.brOutdoor burning may be subject to County wide burn bans.
