There are two bedrooms, a loft with one (Full) bed, one bathroom , a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room with a bonus (full) bed, dining room, washer & dryer. The second bedroom past bathroom has a queen bed and the master is a king. We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to; linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil for cooking, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, creamer. brbrThere is a Cozy corner day bed (FULL) that is located in the living room. Cozy up here to read a book and relax or opt to use this as a 4th bed. brbrMore about the outside space: Guests have access to a large yard, cedar hot tub, and the hiking trails out of the back yard.brbrMore about the location: Let`s start by pointing out that this cabin is as close to the local gem, Hurricane Ridge, as you can get. A 17 min drive to downtown PA and the BC ferry, 37 min to lake crescent, 38 min to Sequim, 1hr 9min to Sol Duc Resort, 29 minutes to Salt Creek Rec area, 26 min to Elwha River, 1h 30m to lapush, 2h to Cape Flattery, 2 hrs to hobuck and much more!brbrGuests will have access to the home, hot tub and yard. Unfortunately, there is no access to lake dawn.brbrWhile we won`t be there to check you in, we will be available during your stay via airbnb, text or call.brbrLet`s start by pointing out that this cabin is as close to the local gem, Hurricane Ridge, as you can get. Minutes to the Lake Angeles Trailhead, and 27 min to Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center. It is truly a perfect starting point for many of Olympic National Park`s wonderful hiking trails.brbrThis home is not nearby public transportation. If you are looking to explore the various activities this area has to offer, we do recommend having a vehicle. We also recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle during the Winter months. Please note that if snowing or snow is in forecast we highly recommend checking in during daylight! Be equipped with chains for tires!brbrInternet: Due to limited availability for internet in the area, there are limited uses for the internet. It works great for day-to-day tasks. It will be a bit slow and laggy for zoom calls. brbrStorm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to The Hurricane Ridge Retreat or causes a power outage. We are 5 miles up Hurricane Ridge Road which is curvy and can see its fair share of weather. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. The cabin is a great spot for exploration of the Peninsula with easy access to Hurricane Ridge and much of Olympic National Park.brbrThe Mountainside Cabin is situated on 2.5 acres of private, forested land with breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. A beautiful drive up the mountainside from Port Angeles town center brings you to the cabin where you feel a million miles from everything, yet are only 10 minutes to the Port Angeles City Pier! The cabin is perfectly located with easy access to Hurricane Ridge Visitor center (41 mins), Marymere Falls/Lake Crescent Lodge (26 mins), Port Angeles town (10 mins), and all the Olympic National Park has to offer. brbrThe interior of the cabin is tastefully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to have a great get away. Hang out on the deck with your morning coffee as you watch the ships pass on the ocean. After a fun day exploring the national park, soak in the hot tub or have a cocktail on the deck as you look at the distant lights of Victoria and gaze at the starry sky. If its a rainy day, don`t worry! Hang out in the game room playing ping pong, fusbol or arcade video games. Or sit back with your favorite book in the comfy reading nook. One tends to see wildlife much more often than people at the cabin!brbr4 cars can be parked in the private driveway at the cabin. We recommend 4 wheel drive if winter weather conditions are expected.brbrThere is a split, ductless AC system in the basement. The upstairs usually does not require AC, however there is a portable AC machine available to use during the summer months.br- No Smoking, vaping, drug use on the property, both outdoors and indoors.br- No more than 8 guests allowed overnight. br- No parties or events. A Noise/occupancy monitoring device (does not video or record) is in place in the cabin to alert us if noise is reaching a level consistent with a party. br- Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am- Please be respectful of the neighbors. br-Do not flush any feminine products, baby wipes, paper towels, cotton balls, q tips, etc as the house is on a septic system and the system. br- No more than 4 vehicles are allowed in the driveway.br- Limit food items to the kitchen and dining areas. br- Do not take food or drink items into the hot tub.br- Fires: The upstairs Wood burning stove is available for guest use. Only place duraflame, wood and paper into the fireplace. We recommend starting fires with a duraflame log. Do not place more than 2 pieces of wood into the stove at a time. The comfortable sleeping options are as follows: two full size memory foam beds in the bunk, one twin size memory foam trundle bed and one queen size memory foam pull out from the couch. There is a blue tooth sound system with speakers built into the inside of the cabin, outside of cabin and on the deck. The speakers can be turned on and off by zone. There is a TV with DVD player and WIFI available. There are two SUP paddle boards and a two person kayak available for adult guest use.
