Sitting on a private beach next to a public fishing pier. You can sit under the covered porch enjoying views of Blake Island and the local sea otters. Bring your boat and anchor it out front while you explore all the Puget Sound has to offer. Worried about charging your electric vehicle We got you covered! This old cottage was originally built in in 1906 as a summer cabin where it's owners would travel from Seattle to escape the hustle and bustle. Nearly 120 years later, this cottage has mastered the art of a comfortable atmosphere and charming views. By the end of your stay, you will struggle leaving this oasis. br---INSIDE--- brWhen you arrive, you immediately feel torn between two time-frames. The quaint little kitchen was carefully put back together with the original shiplap and a farm sink from the 1930s. An all original 1940s refrigerator (yes it still works!) and a vintage butcher-block island that sits atop a modern herringbone tile floor and paired with stainless steel appliances (dishwasher and stove). brJust off of the kitchen sits an equally quaint breakfast nook that can seat 4 adults - wonderful for enjoying all meals or just enjoying the views of the resident black-tailed deer that will routinely stroll through each morning while you enjoy a cup of coffee. This nook is a guest favorite! brMoving into the living room, your attention will be demanded by an all original brick fireplace that ties all the spaces together. This living room, while not large, has a lot to look at with views of the Puget Sound or the vintage eclectic furniture that leaves a unique impression. A cute desk that is just big enough for a laptop to get some work done all while providing you a lovely view. (Please note the open fireplace is non-functional and not to be used). brJust off of the lovely living room there are 2 bedrooms, one of which is the Master where there is a king bed with romantic sconce lighting and a view of the water. The other bedroom which is small but efficiently spaced to host a full bed and your luggage. Beyond the living room you will find a small space that serves as a library, game room or however you want to use it. It is equipped with a 40 LCD TV and a small sofa (and pull-out sofa bed) and an assortment of board games or books for you to kick back and read. br Centrally located between two bedrooms is the spacious and bright full bathroom with a vintage 5ft clawfoot tub and shower. Kick back and take a hot bath while you unwind. For your convenience there is a double vanity allowing guests to share the bathroom in the morning. It is here you will find a well-stocked linen closet with plenty of towels. brFinal bedroom is another efficiently used space with a queen bed and vintage vibes to match the atmosphere of the Harper Beachside Escape. Just big enough to feel relaxed and cozy. br---OUTSIDE--- brKIDS GAME ROOM - just adjacent to the detached garage sits a game room with a pool table and some outdoor games to be played in the yard. brKAYAKS - available for use, is a tandem kayak (2 seater) and a single kayak with a youth sized sit-on-top kayak as well. A handful of life jackets and sizes to hose from. brCOVERED PORCH - with an outdoor dining table for summer months cracking and eating your freshly caught Dungeness crab. Paired with a couple of rocking chairs and outdoor propane fire table where you are encouraged to indulge in the gorgeous vistas of the Puget Sound. In the evenings you will find mood lighting over the porch and front yard where you are welcome to use the outdoor fire pit. Weber BBQ grill on site for your use. brBOAT MOORAGE - You have a boat We have a private beach with moorage rights. You will be responsible for setting your own anchor but bring your boat and launch it up the road at a boat ramp located in downtown Manchester use one of our kayaks to access your anchored boat during your stay. brHiking trails just a short walk away (Harper Park) or Banner Forest a 3 min drive where you can bring your mountain bikes. So many adventures at your doorstep, nearly a perfect Beachside Escape. Guests have access to the entire house and all of the small property (minus the garage). brJust up the road from the Seattle fast ferry. House sits on the local bus line (bus stop is in the front yard). Close to the ferry to downtown seattle (walk or short drive and park). Driveway can hold up to 3 vehicles, with more parking available along the street. The property comes with a private beach, and guests with boats are encouraged to bring along their watercraft and anchor out-front. Use one of our provided kayaks to get to/from their boat. Also the public pier (100 yards away) has a small floating dock for boat passengers. In July and August you can crab right out in front of the house and taste some freshly caught Dungeness and Red Rock Crab on the outdoor dining table under the covered porch.br COMING FROM SEATAC This house has it's own bus stop which connects to the Seattle Fast Ferry (22 min crossing) and takes you right to downtown where you have several options getting to/from the airport.

Watch sea lions, herons, eagles, possibly orcas, and other sea life from the huge picture windows, the patio, the fire pit, or relaxing in the new hot tub. Take in the tranquility of the passage while watching ferries and boat traffic sail by. Ideal for weekend getaways for up to 4 couples. For safety purposes this property is not suitable for children or infants. brbrThe spacebrThis one of a kind, amazing property is located on 150' of low bank Northwest facing waterfront for afternoon sun and beautiful Summer sunsets on Rich Passage, a ten minute drive from quaint downtown Port Orchard. The house was recently renovated, and has two master bedrooms with views of the Sound, two additional rooms in back, and a pull out sofa in a common area in the larger back room. (The shed/office seen in front of the house from the water is currently only used for storing summer lawn furniture and isn’t a sleeping quarter.) The house has an open floor plan, perfect for socializing with family and friends, and plenty of room both inside and out for gatherings. A brand new Samsung smart TV and Yamaha amp will provide entertainment for watching movies at night on Netflix or Amazon Prime, with its 7.1 surround sound system. It has a well-appointed gourmet kitchen, perfect for cooking large meals, a large BBQ on the patio and a dining room table that can seat eight. The views are fantastic from many of the rooms in the house, as well as the concrete patio which is perfect for outdoor entertaining. The house has a hot tub perfectly situated in the center of the yard off of the patio, with views in both directions of the passage. It features two fire pits (propane and wood) for relaxing either up near the house or down by the water. There are steps in the bulkhead that lead down to the beach for beach combing, paddle boarding, or kayaking. Beautiful hiking trails amongst old growth trees, ferns and moss are in Wynn Jones Preserve County Park - the trailhead only a hundred yards up the road from the house. Manchester Park and its hiking trails are also within walking distance.
