Great views, quiet, great beach to walk and near interesting wilderness areas. well equipped.

The location is absolutely gorgeous! The beach is right there and listening to the waves is divine! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with cooking supplies too! The couple that lives in the other downstairs section is very kind and they have an adorable doggie! Downside- if you struggle with stairs don’t book as you do have to walk up to this lovely getaway but it is worth it if you can!! I called, emailed and texted the owner with zero reply before during or after.

We loved our stay at the Sun House. It was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed as a family of three. The setting is absolutely gorgeous…we spent as much time as possible on the beach and on the deck, but even from the inside, the views were amazing. We never closed the blinds on the living room windows so we could always see that amazing water.This home was the perfect base to explore the Olympic Peninsula, and we’d love to come back for a longer stay. Do not hesitate to book this home.

We had a wonderful stay with our college aged kids and pup. Views, kitchen set-up everything was just perfect.

Wonderful house and view. The house is equipped with every thing you need including sharp cooking knives which makes cooking special much better. It’s a great location to for seeing the north coast of the peninsula. I can’t wait to come back!

Once again, wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home. Weather was good for beach walks, which our pup also greatly enjoyed. This really is, in our experience, the most beautiful “wild feeling” waterfront on the Straits of Juan de Fuca, and the house is far enough from public access that you usually have the beach to yourself!

Access is easy, kitchen is very well equipped. The view is spectacular. Coming back.

Kitchen was more than fully equipped. Place was spotless. We were happy we were able to bring our little dog instead of boarding him. He enjoyed the beach very much, as did we all. Views are spectacular. Even though there are houses around, it felt very secluded and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

This home was perfect for our family of 3! We were enamored by the incredible scenery and infinite moments of pure bliss! Loved watching the waves crash from the couch. Think our dog loved it even more than we did. She had so much fun running on the beach. Everything was pristine. Would love to come back.

The Sun House was wonderful. Out of the way, quiet, beautiful. Booking and access to the property was easy. Spotless. We never needed to contact host as everything was in order. One of our favorite VRBO rentals ever.

Best of the best! Class and comfort! Having operated a high end waterfront vacation rental, I know how difficult it is to achieve perfection in every detail, but we found it here! The entire top floor of a two story house (no one lives underneath), it has a wall of windows plus a deck from the primary bedroom and skylights to brighten the space. You can’t find a home closer to the fabulous long walking beach and breaking waves. Beautifully furnished, spotless, everything you need in the kitchen, very comfortable beds. And even dog friendly! It’s only 15 minutes from Port Angeles with its restaurants and other amenities. I have already made reservations to return!

The property is super well stocked and it's hard to beat the view/location.

This was our third visit. The view and sounds of the ocean waves keep us coming back. We did more cooking this time and appreciate the cooking supplies. We love being able to bring our pup along as well. We hate leaving her behind and always chose dog friendly accommodations when driving.

Beautiful place and views!

A beautiful location. The house was thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the views - all seating areas had large windows overlooking the beach. There was also not clutter! Personally, I like a more minimalist style; I don't need every surface covered with art or knick-knacks. The Sun House did not disappoint. Overall, it was one of the best vacation homes I have ever visited.

We LOVED, LOVED, staying at this house! Would definitely stay here again! It was very clean, decorated nicely with so many extra touches like quality towels! It had everything we needed and more. The view of the water and hearing the ocean was magical! We saw seals just off shore look right at us! The house is truly just steps to the beach. Couldn't be more perfect!

Our stay here was a dream. The view and proximity of the sea were incredible. We saw otters and seals playing in the waves, and even an orca in the distance. Walking the beach each morning at low tide was lovely, finding some beautiful stones and stumbling upon tide pools with small crabs and anemones. The house itself was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed and more. Great proximity to the various places we wanted to explore at the Olympic National Park. We definitely hope to visit again.

Fantastic property located right on the beach.Big windows for watching the waves. The super comfortable couch and lots of extra blankets provided the perfect environment for a wet PNW weekend.The kitchen is well equipped. Just bring your personal belongings and you will have all that you need for a fantastic stay. I really enjoyed being here!

This home is a 10 ! It is our favorite place to go !! Sitting by the fire in a beautiful home watching ships go by ,the waves rolling in on the beach , birds, sea life , then you can step outside and beach comb ….how can it get any better than that ?

My granddaughter ( 9yrs) wrote on the beach in the sand. “ I don’t want to leave “ think that summarizes how we all felt !! Everything about this Vrbo is wonderful !

The pictures and descriptions do not do justice to the views from this home. The views are absolutely spectacular. The home itself was clean and had many upgraded amenities. Very nice toaster, Keurig coffee maker and a very nicely stocked coffee bar. We had typical Washington weather during our stay. It was absolutely pouring buckets of rain when we arrived and a mixed bag of clearing and high winds during the next two days. Didn't matter, it was mesmerizing through it all. If you want a peaceful, beautiful stay, you won't be you won't be disappointed. Not to mention there are a lot of excellent restaurants located in Port Angeles. I'm sure we will be returning.

Host was communicative and accurate with descriptions. Well appointed kitchen with anything we needed. Space was better than expected and the views are spectacular. Nothing like walking onto the beach from your room! Definitely recommend!

Excellent location with incredible views of the straits. Easy to get to and centrally located close to town and Olympic. We used the home for base camp while taking day trips. Perfect for that. Beautiful property right on the water. Stunning sunsets, sea otters and water birds. Close to hiking trails and just a few minutes from Port Angeles.
