A Walk In The Clouds cabin is perched on the upper shoulder of the mountain in Starr Crest with a panoramic view about 30 miles into the Smoky Mountain National Park. Starr Crest Resort has the feel of seclusion but is only a four mile drive to Pigeon Forge Parkway, and an eight mile drive to Gatlinburg Tn, and 10 miles to the Smoky Mountain National Park.brbrDescription of Cabin:: Richly appointed and generously sized, this beautiful two bedroom log cabin is the perfect retreat. Bear Necessities has 3 levels and is 2500 square feet (plus deck space). This cabin will sleep a total of 12 guests and has parking for approximately 3 vehicles, with additional parking available in our Resort.brbrMain LevelbrbrBear Necessities has 2 steps up to the front door, where you will enter into the main level. This level features an open air common space with the dining area, kitchen, and living room. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator (with icemaker), a glass top stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. Other items provided in the kitchen are a coffee pot, a blender, a toaster, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 12 guests.brbrBear Necessities living room boasts plenty of windows and a cozy, gas fireplace. There is also a sleeper sofa located here. Watch a the big game on the large flat screen TV or snuggle up next to the natural gas fireplace, regardless we know you will feel totally relaxed in Bear Necessities.brbrThe main level is also where you will find the first of three bedrooms and bathrooms. When you first enter the lower level of Bear Necessities you will walk right into the game room. Not enough fun Then you haven't found the private home movie theater also located on the lower level! The theater room features stadium seating for 10, pull out sleeper sofa, as well as a Blu-Ray player and surround sound. Come rent a movie from the DVD library located in the office, or watch your favorite show on the big screen...The theater is always a big hit!brbrThis level is where you will find the last of three bedrooms and bathrooms. Sky View Lodge has 3 levels and is 3000 square feet (plus deck space). This cabin will sleep a total of 14 guests and has parking for approximately 6 vehicles, with additional parking available in the Resort. This level features an open air common space with the dining area, kitchen, and living room. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator (with icemaker), a glass top stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. The kitchen features black granite countertops and beautiful cherry cabinets. Other items provided in the kitchen are a coffee pot, a blender, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 14 guests. From the kitchen, you can walk out the door to the gazebo with the outdoor fireplace.brbrSky View Lodge's living room is the center of attention on this level and the floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light!
