If you are planning a lengthy stay, we have a washer and dryer to take care of your laundry needs. In 2024 we replaced all of the flooring to elevate the feel of the property even further. We've also added a new charcoal grill to sizzle up some steaks!brbrWith this being an elevated property that sits right at the top of a hill, please be aware that there is a steep gravel driveway. Winters in Nashville are generally mild, but on a rare occasion we get snow and ice and there is always a possibility you may feel more comfortable parking at the bottom of the driveway and walking up if the ice is severe. That being said, as it is a gravel driveway, there is usually no need for this (mentioned purely for practical purposes and to recommend purchasing travel insurance incase of inclement weather).brbrThe fire pit is in the center of a newly poured circular concrete area with Adirondack seating around it. We supply firewood for each group and Home Depot and Lowes both sell pre-bundled packs and are nearby if you need additional. There is a natural sound barrier and you shouldn't be affected by other people on the other side of the house. Even if you hear a conversation, it would be faint and rare, and totally drowned out if you keep on a fan for white noise, and so faint that you feel that your privacy is protected. The rest of the home is rented and sometimes has guests. You will have complete privacy. The only places are the driveway, yard and laundry room. brbr*You have your own private entrance to your unit. To enter, you will go up a flight of stairs and enter through the door on the back deck. You don't have to walk through anyone's living room to get to your space. You have a deck/balcony area immediately out your door that is for your private use. The screened in porch is for the use of other guests staying in the main house. That door is kept closed and there is a privacy scene, so that you don't see them and they don't see you.brbr*There is a cute cuddly lovable dog on premises. You can pet him, as he loves people and is very friendly. Or I can keep him totally away from you. It's your choice. It won't hurt my feelings if you are not a dog person. Let me know in advance and I can provide a close to dog free experience for you.brbr*For swimming and boating it is recommended that you bring your own lake shoes or swimming shoes. They can be purchased at Walmart or online for about $10 a pair. brbr*Here's what's provided for your boating experience: one canoe, three oars,brone paddle board, one oar and life jackets.
