Relax on your amazing huge deck, in your private hot tub that hovers the bold stream. We are located only 30 minutes outside downtown Asheville, NC home to the famous Biltmore House and Gardens and also where you can find incredible restaurants, breweries, live entertainment and nightlife. We are also just 30 minutes to Johnson City, Tennessee. If you enjoy nature and exploring the outdoors this is the destination for you! Fantastic hiking to beautiful waterfalls, top rated white water rafting and tubing, exilerating ziplining and snow skiing/tubing are just minutes away. Hike the Appalachian Trail or Rocky Fork State Park....just 5 minutes away. Once you get here you may not even want to leave! Grab a fishing pole (catch and release ONLY) , build a bonfire or relax in your private hot tub on the deck overlooking the bold stream. We cater to the outdoor Enthusiast. If you are looking for commercialism or pizza delivery this is not the spot for you! We live on and do have four other VRBO rentals on the property however each rental is situated to have its own privacy. We are in a very remote area but very easily accessible...Only a half a mile off of I-26 with no steep or winding roads. You can find Mom and Pop restaurants, grocery stores and Walmart only 15 minutes away. Escape the hecticness of life....COME TO HOTEL CALI FORNIA....you wont regret it!br*********PET POLICY/SMOKING POLICY*********brWe love dogs and welcome one friendly, non-aggressive, potty trained pet with a one-time $20 pet fee. The pet fee is not implemented for me to clean up after your pet inside or outside (waste)the rental. If your dog sheds, please let me know and i will provide you with a vacuum to clean up an excess hair. You CANNOT leave your pet unsupervised in the rental (unless crated), if you leave the property. If your pet sheds we will provide Smoking OR vaping WEED is ONLY permitted outside the rental. If you choose to smoke please make sure all windows and door to the rental are closed. Failure to comply to pet / smoking rules will result in loss of your security deposit. Thank you for your cooperation!

Waterfalls galore from 10 minutes to an hour away...Top rated white water rafting/tubing and amazing Ziplining just minutes away. We are situated between the cool downtown of Asheville, North Carolina and Johnson City, Tennessee.....30 minutes away either direction where you can find incredible nightlife.... restaurants, live entertainment and local breweries . Asheville is also the home to the famous Biltmore House and Gardens. Wolf Ridge ski resort is only 10 minutes away where you can enjoy snow tubing, boarding and skiing in the winter months. You may get here and never want to leave!!!!....your tiny cabin sits directly stream front with your private hot tub on your deck. Build a bonfire and enjoy your favorite beverage or roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Our stream has small rainbow trout in it and you are welcome to fish without needing a license. CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY WITH BARBLESS HOOKS. However the Nolichucky and Watauga rivers are super close where you can catch trophy fish and eat them for dinner! We live on and do have four other VRBO rentals on the property. Nestled above Sam's Creek and Oberlin Falls, the Holyfield Hideaway sits on an ancient Indian and buffalo trail - later becoming the old wagon road connecting East Tn. to NC.. Nowadays:), you can drive right up in your car - no steps onto the pavilion deck or through the front door. The 630 sq.ft. Hideaway is furnished with antique brass headboard, king bed, queen sofa bed, pack n’ play upon request, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchen & bathroom w/ standing shower. All connecting to an 800 sq.ft. deck with propane grill, dining table for 4, hammock and so much more. Create memories to last a lifetime while sitting around the fire, dreaming under the stars...brOther things to note - All bed, bath and kitchen linens provided.***dog friendly*** no cats please due to allergies. Limit of 2 dogs & must crate if left alone. Owners will be held responsible for damages. We have heat & airconditioning. We have 2g & 5gFIBER INTERNET for your work or school needs. We have plenty to do in our area - hiking at our own Lamar Alexander Rocky Fork State Park (Tennessee’s newest wilderness park) just 4 miles down our road. The Sams Gap crossing of the AT is 3 miles up our road ! Local white-water rafting & ziplining at French Broad Adventures. Skiing/snow boarding is 25 minutes away from Hatley Pointe Ski Resort -fine-dine at their restaurant, Smoke and Timber. We are a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat. Our tap water is from our 700’ deep well - we hit the aquaphor- pure, clean and delicious. brWe are only 30 minutes away from Johnson City or Asheville. Please familiarize yourself with our directions before approaching as GPS is not always accurate here :( You will want to stop for groceries before arrival. Last stop for groceries/gas from the Johnson City direction on I-26E is Food City in Erwin, exit 37. Last stop for gas/groceries from the Asheville area on I-26W is Ingles in Mars Hill, exit 11. Either one is less than 20 minutes from us. Once here, you’ll never want to leave ! We would love to have you as our guests.

Jumpin Jack Flash is a beautifully decorated awesome little rustic cabin/shabin that accomodates two people. Enjoy some awesome hiking to numerous amazing waterfalls. The Appalachian trail and Rocky Fork State Park are 5 minutes away. Some of the most top rated white water rafting/ tubing in the country is only 15 minutes away and exilerating ziplining is only 30 minutes away! During the colder months..... Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is only 10 minutes away with skiing/boarding and Snow tubing. If you want to visit the famous Biltmore house and Gardens or are looking for alittle nightlife.... the cool downtown Asheville, North Carolina is only 30 minutes away where you can also find awesome restaurants, live entertainment and local breweries. Johnson City, Tennessee is also only 30 minutes away ! We are in a very remote part of the mountains however we are very easily accessible( no steep or winding crazy roads) and are located 1/2 Mile off of I-26. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hecticness of life, relax and chill.... this is the place you want to be! Build a bonfire....roast a hotdog or marshmallow....do some fishing or relax in your private hot tub on your large deck sitting directly next to the stream!! We cater to the outdoor enthusiasts! Sitting above Sams Creek in the Appalachian mountains, we offer a rustic, wormy chestnut over 100 year old, updated cabin ( 528 sq. ft. ) with a screen front porch & covered and open side deck with outdoor wood burning fireplace ( we provide a reasonable amount of firewood and have more for purchase ), propane grill, living/queen bedroom, kitchen & full bathroom with standing shower. Steps away is a bunkhouse (288 sq.ft.) with queen bed, bunk beds with stairs, 2 chairs and full bathroom with standing shower. The cabin and bunkhouse have heat & air and will sleep 1-6 combined. We have cards, Uno, checkers, Monopoly, poker chips, the Ring game, cornhole, and have a badminton court ! Bring your fishin’ pole - we have native brown and rainbow trout right here in Sams Creek - no license required on our private property. It’s like having your own personal park. We have 2g & 5gFIBER INTERNET for your work or school needs. We have a DVR with a 31” tv screen and a nice selection of family movies. We have a Fire stick. Our tap water is from a well that is almost 700’ deep in the aquaphor - pure, clean and delicious ! brWe are centrally located between Asheville NC & Johnson City, Tn. - 30-35 minute drive to either city which are known for their exceptional restaurants, taprooms, arts, and music. We are only 25 minutes from skiing/tubing at Hatley Pointe Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Zip N Slip, White water raft & zipline at French Broad Adventures. We are only 4 miles from Tennessee’s newest wilderness park - Lamar Alexander Rocky Fork State Park, and 3 miles from the Sams Gap crossing of the Appalachian Trail. Lots to do and see in East Tennessee or just stay here, never leave and soak it all in... It’s HEAVEN to us ! We are a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat. We live on our beautiful property, across the creek and in the woods - so, if you need anything at all, just ask/text or come on over... we want our guests to be reassured that this is a very nice and safe area. PLUS, we are dog friendly. We do ask that you inform us on the number and type of dogs (limit of 2) that you are bringing and that you must crate them when you are gone. Sorry, no cats please. You will be held responsible for any damages. We offer fresh towels daily and will remove your trash bags. Last stop for gas or groceries- if you are approaching us from the Asheville area, Mars Hill, NC exit 11 has a very nice Ingles. If you are approaching us from the Johnson City area, Food City in Erwin, exit 37 is your place. Both grocery stores are just off I-26 and less than 20 minutes from us. Local laundromats are in Erwin, Tn and Weaverville, NC ( 20 minutes east or west ) for our longer-staying guests to take care of their personal items. Call or text as you take Flag Pond, exit 50 and we will greet you at the top of our paved driveway. Parking in front of the bunkhouse. Please follow our directions as your GPS may steer you wrong - for example, we are on the Right not the left :) If approaching from I-26W, GPS will tell you to take the Wolf Laurel exit 3 - it is best to drive one more exit into Tennessee to Flag Pond Rd. exit 50, especially after dark. We are surrounded by mountains with a bold stream running the full length of our property. We are located in a secluded area... but WE DO have four other airbnb's on the property, and we stay booked up so you most likely will see other guests out and about. However, Eleanor Rigby does has a a private yard area/grill/firepit/ hammock with tall fencing surrounding it that offers extra privacy. We are happy to furnish you w all bed linens but we are not able to provide extra blankets due to high volumes of laundry. If you are cold natured, please pack yourself one. Thank you!brOther things to notebr****BED LINENS/ TOWELS******brThe bed linens (fitted/flat sheet) pillow cases/pillows and bed quilt along with one towel per person per day is automatically included in your cleaning fee.
