We have a very nicely decorated and very comfortable 1 bedroom townhouse right in the heart of the Shelter Cove Marina, which is a part of the well known Palmetto Dunes Plantation. Shelter Cove is Hilton Head's largest marina. The villa is well-suited for a couple and for overnight guests using the sleeper couch.brbrOUR TOWNHOUSE IS A CORNER UNIT WITH AWESOME FULL HARBOR VIEWS. The living area has a dining room with a greenhouse window wall and a glass top table with seating for 6. You'll also be amazed when you see the 2 walls of glass in the living room...giving our place a terrific bright and open feeling. brbrNot just 1 but 2 balconies to enjoy...one that has some morning sun and a great view of Shelter Cove's courtyard and the 14' bronze statue of Neptune...and a nice view of some of the harbor too. The other balcony has fabulous full views of the marina and, in season, great afternoon sun and beautiful evening sunsets. Also during the high season, you also get a weekly fireworks display over the harbor...and you have a front row seat from your balcony.brbrOur kitchen has been nicely renovated & updated. New cognac colored cabinets, granite tops and all stainless appliances.brbrShelter Cove is a very popular place for vacationers. Waters sports (fishing, kayaking, sightseeing, etc), lots of stores for shopping and a ton of restaurants all around the harbor, most with al fresco dining...even a restaurant that offers a 'doggie menu' for your pooch to eat along side of you! Also there are MANY other restaurants and stores to shop, especially at the nearby Shelter Cove Town Centre which is just a short walk away from the marina.brbrMost of the harbor front restaurants offer al fresco dining with live entertainment. There's even an amphitheater/pavilion maybe 100' away from our balcony that has live entertainment for you during the high season...it's very popular and gathers a nice crowd...and it's great fun for the kids too. brbrIn season, there is a free shuttle 'buggy' that will pick you up right next to our building. It takes you around the Palmetto Dunes Plantation including our private beach house and the country store. And just a few blocks away from the marina is the new Shelter Cove Town Centre. An outdoor mall of stores, restaurants, park, entertainment pavilion and a huge Kroger's to do your grocery shopping. brbrAnd if you like theater, there's a playhouse only 1 block away. You can also rent a bike right from the marina...go all around the marina and Shelter Cove...even bike from Shelter Cove through the tunnel and under highway 278 and see the rest of the Palmetto Dunes Plantation! brbrOur townhouse is large. It has almost 1,300sf of living space. The villa is nicely decorated and very comfortable...more like a year 'round place to live than a rental unit. As you enter, there's a powder room, then the kitchen. The dining room is ahead with a greenhouse window wall. Then as you pass by the open kitchen with counter and stools, you see the expansive living area with 2 walls of glass and the 2 balconies. And there's a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for the kids or your guests to use. If you let us know in advance, we can provide an air mattress...some of our guests have enjoyed using it on the balcony when the weather is comfortable to sleep out there.brbrTo get upstairs to the master bedroom suite, go up the spiral staircase. Once you're upstairs, you'll find a huge master bedroom with a sitting nook and a large platform whirlpool tub that's open to the bedroom. There's also a vanity with double sink and a separate area with the shower and toilet. brbrWe offer rentals throughout the year. Also, at the end of your stay there is a cleaning charge. Guests can park on-site for an extra fee, which is paid to the parking attendant upon arrival. Words cannot describe the excitement when you step in our 'Ocean Cliff' villa (Admirals Row 306): through the hallway and living room, you can see the beach, the Atlantic Ocean and blue sky right in front of you! When you get to the balcony, you will have a 180 degree, unobstructed view of the ocean and the beach. This condo is on the third floor and right in the middle of the Admirals Row Building A, which is right on the edge of the beach! Please note that many other units claim that they are oceanfront. Be sure to ask them which building it is in. Only Admirals Row Building A is right on the beach. Other buildings are either 1,000 feet away or behind Building A which will not have the true oceanfront view and location our unit has.brbrBefore we get to the details of the unit, we would like to let you know that we have done some very nice upgrades during the off season:br- Brand new (11/13/2021) Serta Perfectsleeper Glenmoor 3.0 hybrid pillow top mattress with medium firmnessbr- Brand new (2019), top of the line Dekton countertop from Home Depot, along with brand new stainless steel Moem faucet and undermount stainless steel sink. br- Re-chalked the bathroom shower and added shelved bathroom organizer.br- Replaced both nightstands in the bedroom.br- Replaced the blinds next to the front door. brbrThe villa has a very unique style with Mexican floor tiles and hand painted Morocco art wall tiles throughout. We love the rustic style but some people may not like it as much so please consider it before booking. This is what jumps out as the most striking part of the unit, except for its oceanfront view and location. Please note that these are special handmade tiles; while beautiful, it's neither flat nor even. It may cause some issues for people with wheelchairs or child strollers. It is also beautifully decorated with accessories, furnished with fine furniture and well equipped for your vacation needs. brbrThe bedroom is open with door and walls take down so it is very spacious with a huge closet. However, it also means that it has no privacy. The bed is queen size. There are two new nightstands. On one side of the bed, there is a large dresser with four drawers with a Samsung Smart TV on top. On the other side of the bed next to the window to the hallway, there a long bench. brbrThe bathroom has a shower booth (not tub!), along with a toilet (low seat height at 14 1/2 inches - could be a problem if you have trouble squatting down) and a sink. We just put a shelf above the toilet to add some storage space for your use.brbrWe have just remodeled the kitchen area. New for 2019 is top of the line Dekton countertop from Home Depot. We also replaced the sink and faucet with brand new stainless steel units. We chose the more expense undermount style to give it a cleaner look and more countertop space. Next to the countertop, we have a new electric range/oven unit. On the other side the kitchen area, we have a large refrigerator with ice maker. We also have a 12 cup coffee maker and a toaster oven on the countertop. A microwave is on top of a table in the living area.brbrYou will enjoy the beautiful ocean and beach view from the kitchen, dining room, living room area and of course the balcony. The dining table can be extended to double the length as needed. The entertainment center is equipped with a new for 2021 smart TV. brbrWIFI Internet access is available in our condo, at no charge to you. So bring your laptop, surf the Internet while watching the waves!brbrLate 2012, we replaced the entire HAVC system to make the unit more comfortable all year around. Due to the fact that the unit is so close to the ocean, there is sometimes some humidity in the air. So we installed a separate dehumidifier in the living room next to the refrigerator. It is set at 50. Please check daily and pour out the water in the bucket when it is full to keep the moisture to a comfortable level. You can turn it off while watching TV to reduce noise level in the living room and turn it back on later if you feel it's too humid. brbrFor your convenience, we provide the following items (commonly asked, not a complete list): bathroom starter set (toilet paper, soap), kitchen starter set (dishwasher detergent), linens for the bed and sofa bed (in a plastic bag); towels (no beach towels); foldable chairs and umbrella for the beach; coffee maker; blender; iron and board, etc. brbrThere are also better beach chairs and umbrella for rent on the beach as well – check with the live guards on the beach. Bike rental is also available near the security gate. brbrOur unit is in the middle of the third floor of the oceanfront Admirals Row Building A. The building is just steps away from the beach. There is an elevator a few steps from the unit, as well as a coin operated laundry room. brbrThe Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort has a long list of amenities for your family to enjoy. It boasts the widest beach (which is right in front of the balcony) and the largest oceanfront pool on the island (and a smaller pool is right next to our building - Admirals Row); ten lighted tennis courts; a tennis pro shop (tennis instruction is available as well); a kids' playground; a basketball court; barbecue areas and a fishing lagoon. Your safety is guarded by a 24 hour security gate and regular security patrols. There is a convention center on the resort that has a convenience shop, a restaurant, a sports lounge, and an exhibition center.brbrGolf courses are everywhere on the island. Many shopping centers and outlet malls are on and off the island. brbrWe know you are searching for a perfect place for your long waited vacation: great location, beautiful view, and affordable price. These are situated in a rough U-shape around a pool, kiddy pool and sun deck on 6 acres of parkland landscape.brbrIdea for family, multi-family and multi-generation groups, these villas have 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms (two en-suite), a large living room/ dining room/ kitchen and, somewhat unusually, another room which can serve as a den for the kids, a fourth bedroom if needed (a configuration we call the Golfers floor plan!) or, if you really cannot afford to be disconnected from the world, as an office. The Villa has high-speed wired and wireless internet connectivity (bring a printer if you will need one.) The floor plan is split over three levels with master bedrooms on the top and lower floors giving a sense of space even in multi- family groups.brbrOur Villa is an end unit at the back of the U with exceptional shade and privacy all day long. Back to the sounds of the beach… This villa has retained the original design where on both ocean-facing levels there are four sliding doors across the full length of the unit which open onto a balcony from the living room level and a patio from the ground level. All the rooms have overhead fans. brbrWith the usual sea breezes, on all but the hottest days you might not need to cut yourself off from that 'at the beach' feeling with air-conditioning.
